The Revenant is a great movie! Leonardo DiCaprio won his first Oscar for this roll and it was well deserved. This film has beautiful cinema-photography. It is a great study of human nature and the spirit that drives us to do things. It is based on a true story and man. There have been a couple of movies made on the same subject before this one, but they pale in comparison to this one. I recommend The Revenant.

When I first saw ‘the Revenant’ on TV, I only saw part of it and wasn’t too impressed. But when I saw it on 4k UHD, I was blown away. It’s an experience for home theater for sure!

Nicely done overall, hard to watch sometimes though. Great acting jobs by all involved and was Oscar worthy. Hard to film in those locations I'm sure but looks flawless in all its efforts. It may be looked at as a revenge film but there's more to it underneath the surface.

I've never been a Leo fan. I've always thought he was lucky to be in some great Scorsese movies. However, his performance in Revenant was great. Captivating movie with some of the best cinematography. Some scenes are tough to watch and definitely not for kids, but well worth it.

This movie is truly an experience. You become the main character and you see this world of his through his eyes. You feel his pain as he goes on his journey. It is becoming harder and harder for movies to do this today. But this is a great movie expierence that is worthy of its praise.

Most amazing movie experience I have had since I have been home ! Buy a 4k UHD hdr oled tv and a ps5 disc version with home surround soun and you will never want to go to the movies again!!!

I knew when I saw this movie in the theater that I would want to own it on BluRay. Oscar winner for cinematography & deservedly so. This is the kind of movie that takes you to another place, and one you will remember scenes from constantly. Great acting & the best CG bear attack ever!

Not a movie for everyone, but very good story, with excellent acting. An epic battle between two men and the brutal winter wilderness. Brutal living conditions with dramatic scenery. Really pops in 4k.

The Revenant is definitely worthy of all the accolades it received (Academy Awards for Best Director, Best Lead Actor, and Best Cinematography). The attention to details, the film being done completely in natural light, and of course the acting make for a truly stunning experience.

After seeing this movie you will understand why Leo DiCaprio won the Oscar. And the director won one too for the picture. The acting is top notch. The story is non stop immersive. And in 4K, Man this is one of the most beautiful movies I own. Period. Absolutely recommended.

this is a dark film. not for the family. the director and DP shot this movie like their lives depended on it: because it's that good. Leo got top billing, but Tom Hardy really stole the show with his performance. blu-ray transfer is top notch in the audio & visual department.

After seeing all the Best Picture nomiees, The Revenant is by far my favorite. Leo puts on another incredible performance, finally got his well deserved Oscar. Tom Hardy is also incredible. One of the best films in terms of cinematography and directing I've personally ever seen.

The Revenant, meaning a person who has returned, tells the story of exactly that. A man is brought to the brink of death, fueled not so much by the will to survive as much as the need for revenge. I normally don't care for academy award movies but this one was well deserved

This is a must see. Leo is one of the best actors of this generation, if not THE best, and this film is one of his best. Also, the stunning views shot in the wilderness of Canada... wow!! It's incredible what this film crew went through to make this movie happen. A must see!

Not only is this an excellent film but the 4K HDR is amazing if you have the TV for it. My jaw dropped when I saw how the picture looked when starting the movie. If I were to show off my TV this is the movie I would throw in. Absolutely worth it!

Leonardo DiCaprio has always been one of my favorite actors. I enjoyed watching him in Blood Diamond, Catch Me If You Can, The Departed, The Wolf of Wall Street, Inception, Shutter Island, and The Great Gatsby. He always gives a worthy performance and this one is no different.

Wow! What a captivating experience the cinematography in this film is outstanding! The acting of both Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy are easily two of the best of their careers! A perilous journey that's needs to be seen to believe! Buy and watch you will not be disappointed

I didn't get the chance to see this in the theater, and my online version was quite poor. Bought the 4K the day it came out and wasn't disappointed. One of the best movies I have watched in a long time. The nature scenes are amazing and are all real on location, no fake CGI...
