A movie that is more of a character study than an action/adventure. The movie could be called boring at times, but it is a great look at frontier life and the perseverance to stay alive.

Leonardo DiCaprio does a wonderful job with little to no dialogue. Half dead throughout he is masterful. Made me want to punch Tom Hardy in the teeth because he deserved it. Great movie

An incredible immersion into the re-imagined environment of a West in transition between what was and still is and the western culture that would later prevail. Truly Great Acting!

Great character development. Beautiful cinematography. A great recreation of the time period. Superb acting. I just wasn’t fascinated with the story and the pacing. Love Leo and almost all of his work. Unfortunately this was not my favorite but definitely not my least liked Leo movie.

The 4K is stunning, perhaps the most crystal clear movie I have watched on my OLED TV.

What can you say about a movie with the best actor on the planet, doing his best work. The seenery on a big screen makes the 4k pop.

We saw this movie in the theater and I couldn't wait to watch it again. It is an attention grabber from beginning to end. By the way, the movie was just as good the second time around.

This is one of the hardest movies to watch due to it's grit and violence. However it is so well filmed, you can't come away from it not loving the experience.

I found The Revenant to be an amazing, compelling drama. The cinematography is world class as is the acting. The style might not be for everyone, but I thought it was brilliant.

The filming, directing and overall story of The Revenant were incredible. Have not seen filming like this since BirdMan. Leo's active was nothing less than perfect.

Two great actors and one amazingly shot film. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys good acting and cinematography and movies about survival in nature.

Leo is great and the 4K looks pretty good, a slight kick up from the blu ray version. Worth the watch.

Heard so much about this movie especially after Leo won the Oscar for it. An absolutely brutal movie about human revenge and definitely a must see film. I don't think there is much repeat value here as the movie is too long and just not something that needs to be seen more than once. Still highly recommended.

Lately I've been on a 4k HDR movie kick and this is a great addition to it. I suggest you only buy HDR enabled movies if you're really able to get the most out of them.

Excellent film, which you may already know. Video transfer is clean, sound is solid. Not sure how to compare to 4K, but it’s an excellent add for the home theater.

This movie is one of the most visually stimulating that I've seen. It's a long one, but the storyline is so captivating and full of action that I was hooked throughout. A must have.
