You know the movie is great when Leonardo DiCaprio was chosen as the best performer by an actor in the Academy Awards.

The special effects in this movie are so unbelievable. And the actual hardships endured by the crew to insure the realism is remarkable.

Leonardo DiCaprio gives a great overall performance in this movie. The cinematography is spectacular and the story is interesting all the way through, but the first person vantage point in some scenes can be distracting or disorienting at times.

Not much to say about this film,that hasn't already been said. Outstanding 4k picture. Worthy of watching over and over again.

I thought the acting was excellent but the period-correct dialect a bit hard to understand at times. Great photography and very interesting that the story line followed a true story. I believe the movie would have benefited from 20 minutes cut.
