There are no words to describe this beautifully shot, cinematic piece of art Alejandro G. Iñårritu has directed. Props to the actors and the entire film crew!

I regard this film as one of the best in the last few years and thought it was a good runner up for best picture. Hardy was well acted as the scoundrel and Decaprio did great even with few lines. Recommend it.

Not so much of a revenge movie, feels a lot like a man vs nature movie. But Leo killed it..or survived it? The scenes are jaw dropping, they used natural lighting while filming and everything looks great.

The Revenant is an amazing movie about a man over coming the obsticles in his way, a man against nature. If you love excellent acting, great storytelling, and beautiful cinematography you'll love the revenant.

This movie is a journey. From the opening scene to the end credits you will be completely engaged. It is visually stunning, superbly acted and masterfully directed. I can't recommend this movie enough.

I was afraid the bear scene would be too much, but it wasn’t that ling or bloody. Some of the long cuts are nice.

The Revenant was one of my favorite movies of 2015, if you haven't seen it you need to do so now. It looks stunning on blu ray and the sound quality is great. My only problem with this release is that it's very light on extras, and I was hoping for more considering the uniqueness of the making of this film (it was shot in all-natural lighting).

This has to be the best cinematic experience I have had at my home theater. The 4K quality is simply incredible. If you buy a 4K movie, this needs to be in your library. Good movie, great visual experience!

What more can you say about this movie that hasn't been said already. Great acting, the spectacular scenery, the savagery of the times, all made you feel like you were there experiencing everything firsthand.

I was not a fan of Inarritru's last film (Birdman), but this was amazing! DiCaprio definitely earned his Oscar, and even the creative liberties that were taken with the true story were okay to be worked with.

Amazing Scenamatic movie. Beautiful scenery and I love the action. It's got some added details and twists in the movie that doesn't relate to the real Hugh Glass life story. But a excellent movie nonetheless.

The Revenant 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray can be considered a reference quality disc. Outstanding picture and sound to go along with a stunning film. If you're going to invest in UHD, this one is a must-have.

Be very well warned the movie has intense violence, i mean the opening is hard core gory. But it is a very good movie always keeps you entertained and attentive. Plus i love every movie with LEO Decaprio

So I went into Best Buy and saw this movie on blu ray for 4.99 and I was like no way can't be. But it was and it's a really great story, great film and Leo doesn't disappoint in this one.

The movie setting is virtually without direct sunlight but in 4K with an HDR TV it is very lifelike. The acting is first class and a great but simple story of survival and reckoning

The Revenant is an excellent if brutal movie. Not much is left to the imagination when indians attack. Our main character has a real drive to live, which he proves again and again.

The entire film is shot with only existing natural light. The opening long shot is a masterpiece worth watching over and over for cinema students and well worth the purchase price.

DiCaprio at his best. A well directed Western with a terrific story line. Well deserved Oscar for DiCaprio.

Good special effects (especially the bear attack). The acting was very good. Life was miserable back then and this film shows just how tough things were. It is a simple story of revenge with minimal dialog. definitely recommend it to family and friends. (Then run over to the thermostat and turn it up 1 degree - just because I could)
