Very difficult to access your cards especially if you you use more than 2. Also there is no logic place for ID cards or other similar items such as health insurance cards. I could see it being useful in select scenarios where you are just carrying one or two cards and prefer compactness. Overall it does not seem practical for daily use.

Unimpressed. Code 118 is better and way cheaper, and Eskter walters are better then ridge, my fave is Code 118. The cards I mentioned have a push button where the cards pop out. The ridge you have to push that slit, and fight with the cards to get them out. I ended up returning this waller.

This is just my personal opinion. This wallet is useless to me. It does not work like it does in the commercial ad. You spend a lot of money and have to put in effort to get the cards out. I opted in for a better minimalistic wallet Groove Life which is the best wallet I’ve ever owned.

    Farewell Primitive Wallets

Like most, I’ve used a wallet since I was a teenager. Bi-folds, tri-folds, and even money clips, I used them all. A couple of years ago I received a leather wallet for Christmas that served its purpose and even had RFID (radio frequency identification) blocking. However, I was getting annoyed with the wallet because my cards (debit, credit, and membership cards) would fall out if I titled my wallet sideways. It’s frustrating when it happens while you’re at the self-checkout with a long line waiting. I had seen a few ads about the Ridge Wallet, and I researched them to see why they were so celebrated. I would tell myself, “I’ll get around to getting one.” Well, I finally got one and it’s AMAZING! It’s a minimalist design that does so much. The Ridge Wallet forces you to carry what you NEED in it. I was never the type to use my wallet as a “briefcase” but I was guilty of having mystery phone numbers on little pieces of paper or business cards that I had no use for. The Ridge Wallet’s design makes you reevaluate what you need to be carrying in it. I went from carrying 12 cards in my leather wallet to carrying six cards in my Ridge Wallet. Gone were the stamp reward cards for a yogurt shop that was no longer in business, or the flimsy business cards that carried over from a previous wallet. I have the necessary cards (license, credit, debit, insurance, etc) in it. It looks cool. My Ridge Wallet is gunmetal grey and it suits me perfectly. Again, the minimal design does so much. No more bulk in my pocket. There have been times when I thought I forgot my Ridge Wallet because it’s so light. “Where do I put my cash?” you might ask. Well, there’s a cash strap built into the wallet. Fold up your cash and slide it into the strap. And it’s easy to remove for those times when you may have to tip the valet or what have you. The design of this Ridge Wallet is made to last. If it gets wet, just wipe it off with a paper towel, if you drop it, it won’t snap or break. And it has RFID protection. I won’t pretend that I know whether or not it’s saved my debit card information from being boosted but it’s nice to know that it’s there, right? If you were like me and have been on the fence regarding getting a Ridge Wallet, then I hope my review has pushed you towards getting one. I truly believe that you will wonder how we managed with ‘primitive’ wallets until the Ridge Wallet.

I recently made the switch to the Ridge Wallet, and it's been a game-changer in terms of both style and functionality. As someone who values minimalism and efficiency, this wallet has exceeded my expectations. The Ridge Wallet's design is a testament to simplicity and modernity. Made from durable materials, it boasts a sleek, minimalist profile that comfortably fits into any pocket. Don't let its slim silhouette fool you, the Ridge Wallet is a powerhouse when it comes to functionality. The innovative design features a secure money clip on one side and a practical cardholder on the other. The elastic band holds your cards firmly in place, and the thumb slot allows for easy access to your most-used card. The wallet's capacity is surprisingly generous, accommodating up to 12 cards without sacrificing its streamlined format. Constructed with precision and high-quality materials, the Ridge Wallet is built to withstand the wear and tear of everyday life. The metal construction not only adds a touch of ruggedness but also ensures that this wallet will stand the test of time. It's clear that the manufacturers prioritized durability without compromising on style. In an age where digital security is paramount, the Ridge Wallet doesn't fall short. The integrated RFID-blocking technology adds an extra layer of protection, keeping your cards safe from potential electronic theft. It's a thoughtful feature that adds value to an already impressive wallet. While it may be a bit of an investment compared to traditional wallets, the long-term benefits and the sheer satisfaction of owning a well-crafted accessory make it more than worth the price. If you're in the market for a wallet that seamlessly blends form and function, the Ridge Wallet is a clear winner.

The Ridge Wallet Aluminum, Cash Strap: Gunmetal is a minimalist wallet made from high-quality aluminum and elastic, both durable and lightweight. It is designed to hold up to 12 cards and has a money strap to hold cash, credit cards, or IDs. The wallet is also RFID-blocking, which protects your cards from unauthorized scans. It is perfect for those who want a minimalist option. The wallet's functionality makes accessing your cards and the money strap easy. I followed Ridge Wallet's instructions by placing the two most used cards in the front and back of the wallet to maximize accessibility. It took a little getting used to pushing the cards out of the wallet to find the one I wanted. After a few practice tries, I could easily push and fan the cards out of the wallet to access the card I wanted quickly. The aluminum construction is scratch-resistant and will not bend or break. The elastic strap in this wallet is very durable and is designed not to stretch or tear over time. The elastic strap and screws on the aluminum are all covered by a lifetime guarantee. The Ridge Wallet Aluminum, Cash Strap - Gunmetal wallet comes in a neat cardboard box that includes the wallet, a small instructional card, a Torx screwdriver, and screws to make modifications. Overall, the Ridge Wallet is a great minimalist wallet that is both durable and functional. I no longer have to carry my wallet in my rear pants pocket. I threw out my bi-folding bulky leather wallet and replaced it with this sleek and stylish Ridge Wallet. I can now walk, stand, and sit comfortably with the Ridge Wallet inside the front pants pockets. The Ridge Wallet Aluminum Cash Strap - Gunmetal -is an excellent option for those wanting a sleek and stylish wallet to protect their cards from unauthorized scans.
