Same transfer as the first blu ray relase back in March of 2011. No new transfer or upgraded audio but that doesn't mean it isn't any less enjoyable as the first pressing. Overall nothing new to add but a copy of the DVD and some cool movie themed baseball cards of the actors. If don't have this then worth a upgrade from the DVD plus you get a copy of the DVD. If you have this already in your blu ray collection and unless your a collector then you might want to pass on buying it again.

The Sandlot was a great movie that kids in my generation could identify with 20 years ago, despite the movie being set in the 50s. It taught many great life lessons, and was hard to not like. I was so glad when they decided to release it on Blu-ray. It included a DVD copy, bonus features and baseball card versions of all the characters. What more is not to like about this? It was also $9.99, which didn't burn much of a hole in my wallet. I couldn't be happier.

sandlot is one my all time favorite sport family films that has come out bc it has a great cast and good story and there are parts that are very funny and it has heart too so if you want to watch a very good family sport movie than i would watch the sandlot bc how good it is and it looks good on blu-ray and i wish now they would release bad news bears the 70's version and the babe with john goodmen on blu-ray than i can have all my favorite family sports movie on blu-ray

Great kids/adult movie that everyone will enjoy. For the adults, it lets them think about their childhood and for kids, its all-around great movie. This movie is timeless, I mean, you could watch it FOR-E-VER

I've always been a fan of The Sandlot, I remember it being played on ABC Family all the time. I was surprised when I saw this was on DVD/blu ray during the week of Black Friday for $5. I received the product and was surprised to see that the slipcase felt like an actual baseball which was nice and it came with trading cards of all the main characters.

Bought this movie on Black Friday for an exceptional price! Came with trading cards of all your favorite Sandlot Players! Yeah Yeah is my favorite by far though! Back to the point of this review... You must simply have this movie. I cannot stress it enough. Your childhood and possibly your child's childhood need this movie in their lives. Great flick!

I watched the Sandlot for the first time when I was a little kid and fell in love with the movie. So many entertaining and quotable statements made by the cast of the film. A very funny and family friendly movie that incorporates summer vacation, baseball, and childhood friendships. I'd recommend this movie to absolutely everyone!

This movie is an excellent family film, Great plot to the story and very good acting. It reminded me so much of my days growing up with all my freinds. Heart warming and entertaining for all ages. You will love this movie. It gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling.

I have it on dvd, but the bluray version of this classic looks and sounds so much better. I especially love how the high quality video shows the landscape of the sandlot...so much crisper and much more enjoyable. Bought at Christmas time, so the price couldn't be beat!

This is a great movie for kids of all ages. It is a laugh riot. The lifeguard scene is one of the funniest moments ever seen in a movie. Do not miss this wonderful gem of childhood.

The greatest scene is when the heroic players rescue their baseball, and followed by the scene where the kids get banned from the pool!!

Was looking for movies that I could watch with my younger children, this one fits the bill. It has a great meaning to convey about growing up and it revolves around baseball and anything with that subject is the best!

If you ever played baseball as a kid this is the movie to watch. This group had a dog to contend with on HR balls...I on the other hand had a crabby neighbor...It's a movie for all ages...I really liked it..

Timeless classic. Ages young and old will continue to enjoy this summer baseball flick. This edition even comes with baseball cards for the kids in the film.

This is a great movie about a boy who moves to a new town and starts to play baseball with the kids from the block. Very fun to watch.

Just an all time favorite of most people who grew up in the 90s. If you were growing up in the 90s this VHS was playing on your TV non stop! Not an exactly an Oscar winning movie but this movie will always have the nostalgia factor for me. You can pop this in anytime and watch it from start to finish. Highly Recommended!!!!!

So happy this movie was released on blu ray. I remember watching this so many times as a kid and watching it on blu ray really took me back to the good old days!

I love this version, it has it all! different spoken languages and more. Best buy has it for you i a very low price. You have to get this movie definitely.
