I watched this movie once and was a little moved by it, so I watched it again. What I mean is, I want to travel like that, so it's kind of inspirational in a sense. Some of the situations the main character gets himself into are a little far fetched, but entertaining enough.

This movie has a fantastic story that almost everybody can align with. Because everybody at some point in their career has wanted to do something spectacular. This movie will have you laughing at certain points and really feeling for Walter at other times. It is just a fun all around film to watch.

Finally a great story to play out, which is a nice change of pace from all of the horror movies that are plaguing the theaters. I know this was a re-make of an older movie - and though I haven't seen the original - I do know it's a bit different from that version. This movie was very uplifting!

I wasn't able to see it at the theater, but once seen on the DVD i found out that it was suprisingly better than the theater trailers might have suggested. This is not a must have, but well worth seeing for the cinematic journey and surprising plot turns occurring along the way. I give it a 4+

I absolutely LOVE this movie. It taps into idea that no dream is too big, but to not underestimate our current existence. No matter how small, or dull your life may seem when you compare it to another, someone else may see you as amazing and inspiring just as you are.

Great combination of comedy and drama. The visuals alone are worth watching the movie. The film makes you rethink your perspective on life and what you really value. You realize that no matter where you are in your life it is never too late to change your path and make yourself happy.

When in high school, we read this story in English class. It has been slightly updated to fit into more modern times. I had forgotten the plot of the book, so it was a pleasure to watch it performed by excellent actors. I will watch it again!

I purchased the Bluray/DVD/Digital version of this film for $9. It's a great movie, full of adventure and mystery. One of Ben Stillers best, unlike most of his very comedic films, this one has a more serious feel yet still has a comedic relief to it. It's a must watch for sure!

My family really enjoys this story. Some movies are just that, movies... but this makes you feel and think a lot more than a lot of movies. It's a feel good adventure story that I'm sure many people can relate to having dreamt about a similar scenario in own there life.

We all have a tendency to day dream, don't we? But life is best lived by actively participating in the here and now. And this show demonstrates the kind of transformation which can happen in one's life by being an active participant in one's own life.

I love this movie. It makes me happy and the sound track and scenery is phenomenal. I got a great de for this movie. If you love pretty movies and how good they look on tv, then you might want to consider blue ray to add emphasis of the beauty of this movie

what a great motivator this movie is. no matter how scared we are and no matter how large the world looks to us, just find that small reason in your gut to push you around the world while conquering all your fears. I want some of that clementine cake....

This was an impulse purchase and I'm glad I bought it. Good little remake with enough of a departure to make it fresh yet retains enough of the original core of the story to make it relatable to those of us who liked the original.

I had heard bad reviews about the film. it amazing. loved it. I got the blu ray set with the HD code and the DVD and I have shared it with others. I love the karaoke scene in new zealand with human league. and everyone in the movie is really good. good to own.

I think so many people skipped this movie upon release. I did, too. I watched it when it was out on blu-ray and the film stuck in my mind since, so when I found it at the bottom of the bargain bin...it was meant to be.

I first saw this film on the big screen and love it! so I knew I would own it one day! I found it with an amazing slipcover so that's a plus! the film is 10 out of 10 and it has a good amount of special features! very fun to watch! totally recommend this film!

This movie not only tells a compelling story through a well written script, but also tells it with the beautiful cinematography. Ben Stiller and cast bring a certain romantic feel to the story of a man who learns to live his life himself, instead of day dreaming about it.

Not your typical Ben Stiller movie; but one that expands his acting abilities, as a milquetoast editor that embarks on adventure that he only has dreamt of before. A good movie cast and wonderful scenery enhances this sleeper of a good movie.

I loved this film, never saw the original so I can't compare the two, but this version I can't really explain why whether it was the soundtrack or the skateboarding or the cast or just the culmination of everything left me warm and fuzzy.

Great feel-good movie for those wanting to feel inspired to achieve what they only dreamed of accomplishing; good soundtrack too. See it with open heart and open mind to the possibilities of what one can imagine.
