This is a great movie! So impressed with Blake Lively's performance as she in most of the film by herself. Movie arrived in great shape and on time! Definitely happy with my purchase!

From start to finish this movie has an edge to it. Even more than a battle of man vs nature, it was simply survival. Many ups and downs and extremely entertaining. It will not disappoint if you like a movie that packs a punch.

Movie was excellent. Held the attention of family and was exciting to get to the end and see what happens. Never lost interest in the anticipation of what would happen next.

Definitely not for young children. Some very gruesome scenes, even for adults! It wasn't Jaws either, but still intense and a good watch. I loved the seagull as her wounded pet!

Oh I've seen this Cat and Mouse Type film before where the Prey matches wits and survival senses with a Worthy Predator that lasts the entire film but the scenery is so Immersive that you feel like you are in the water !!

In a long line of shark movies, this was done quite well. Thankfully, the shark was not made to be bigger then a yacht. Gripping, suspenseful, and purchased for library after I had rent it due to great sale price.

Purchased for my niece and I enjoyed watching it with her. It is a great story about a courageous girl that inspires you to never give up on your dreams.

For anyone who has spent anytime in the water this is a fear come to life. It is both beautiful and terrifying to watch. Good story on the determination to survive.

Though there are some corny slow motion shots of Blake Lively running and the shark is noticeably CGI, this is one intense film! And it's largely due to how good Lively is.

Being a movie buff had to add this to my collection while it was not quite as good as I thought it was still worth purchasing and glad to have it in my collection.

I've been reading several "top 10 shark movies" and what not list and this one is consistently near the top so I thought I'd get it.

A lot better than I was expecting. Lots of thrills and nice acting from the star. Usually movies like this with one actor/actress against nature are hard to make entertaining and they were able to do it with this film.

The Shallows is an amazing film!! Very suspenseful and truly scary!!!! The picture qualify is reference quality. Extremely film-like with colors that pop! The HD sound is truly immersive. Easily and all around 5/5!!!!!

I really liked this movie. It kept your attention. It is one of those movies where you put yourself in the situation and makes you think about what you would do.

This movie has it all. A beautiful heroine, and one heck of a stubborn shark. This movie is full of surprises, and is chock full of suspense. Watch this movie with a big bucket of popcorn, and with the lights off.

Its a superb film that is the best shark film since Jaws. (There hasn't been much to be honest since Jaws but you get the point.) Very well acted. There are moments of cheesyness but the movie as a whole is great.

You can't get tired of watching the beautiful Blake Lively in a bikini as she struggles to survive a vengeful shark. The tides change on who is winning the fight. This movie turned out a lot better than I expected.

Starts with stunning locations and great acting. Action is well thought out and well written. This will make you jump so watch early if you can. Ending is ok but seems to be hurried. Other than that perfect

Gets your attention quickly and never lets up. Even when you are aware of your surroundings, unexpected things can occur. Ending could have been better.

I purchased THE SHALLOWS on Ultra HD Blu-Ray and the results in video quality and sound was amazing! Beautiful blues and fine crisp detail really shine through in this thriller! Highly recommended!!!
