Love the movie but didn't like the ending, fake Galveston scene

Entertaining for almost a one person movie on the level of jaws

An entertaining movie in the monster movie/shark genre.

If you are looking for a "Jaws like" movie this is not it.

No Jaws! Good shark movie though. Well worth a watch!

Wasn’t looking for the original jaws but was hoping for more realism. Seems like this movie was made for a very young audience. Too many unrealistic scenes and too little plot.

Buetiful scenery, but a little weak on plot, I quess if I was a lot younger and wanted to watch a girl in a bikini on a rock for 2 hours it might have been better

Do not waste your time on this one. totally unbelievable. Jaws was so much better and some what believable. The special effects were so much better in Jaws also.

I was expecting a better story line but what I got was mediocre acting and a predictable story. The best thing about the movie is the vivid colors of the ocean

Jaws made more of an impact to me than The Shallows. I don't like going into the ocean to this day. I even tried to jump out the back of the tram at Universal Studios when Jaws and I came face to face on the ride when I was 7 years old. The Shallows was recommended to me to watch. If you want to watch shark movies, I'd recommend Jaws and the Jaws series of movies (Jaws 1-4). However, Jaws 4 reminds me of Orca. I prefer Orca versus Jaws 4 (The Revenge); though.

This movie was a little to fantastic . Nothing like .. Jaws . It was boring and predictable. Not to much story but the same old . I fell asleep!!!!
