I was excited to see this movie to only be let down.. only a little : ) go into it with low expectations and I think u will enjoy it!

I really loved this movie. I loved it is a love story. I love the odd colors of green and blue it seemed to be shot in. I loved the era in which it took place. My only complaint is that I paid extra for the 4K Ultra/Blu Ray version and could not tell ONE BIT of difference for the 4K Ultra. Not sure what that is about. My TV and player said I was watching the Ultra 4K version, but it just seemed like a regular DVD to me.

This movie is brilliant. I enjoyed the allegory (hidden meanings) that underpinned the storyline. Watching it on 4K Ultra HD enhanced the beauty of what was deservingly, the best film of the year. I highly recommend purchasing this Blu ray movie for one’s video library. Amazing!

I thought this was going to be an overrated film, but it wasnt! This movie was so beautiful and I feel everyone at one point in their lives should watch this masterpiece. It was such a great movie and im glad i purchased it so i can watch it whenever since it comes with three copies one being the digital copy for easy access on the go.

Well directed,great cinematography,excellent performances.Sally Hawkins should have won the Academy Award.Great film.

It's a strange love story, to be sure. It has a throwback feel to it. It is quite an engrossing movie, that once it gets going, its a pretty fun ride. Still can't believe that it won best picture, but that's not a bad thing. The 4K presentation is flawless.

This was an OK movie it may not be for everybody I recommend that cautiously not everybody has the same tastes

The premise can be weird for some but once the movie gets going in you're in for the ride. It's charming and really has a unique style that fits the characters and the time frame it takes place in. No it's not abe sapien from hellboy although we wished it was *sigh*

4K quality was great with the darker parts of the movie. Not my favorite movie but maybe I need to watch again.

This was a gift. It’s a very unexpected enjoyable movie about a man sleeping with a fish woman. Super bizarre but what else would you expect from a movie called “ the shape of water”. I don’t know why it’s enjoyable just like I don’t know why puppies make me smile.

Guillermo is such an incredibly talented director and writer. His imagination dug deep into this old story that hearkens back to the creature romance movies of the 1950's. And he dials it to 11! It's so beautiful to watch as well, visually stunning special effects, sounds and story just grabs you and doesn't let go.

I never had a smart phone before. Easy to use. Like the large screen. I had a hard time putting the screen protector on., but I like the Smart Phone II. I also enjoy the caring case from Jitterbug. I can turn it horizontal or vertical. When texting IS easy. I'm still learning on how to use all of it.

Found this movie when it was on clearance and it was a little weird for my taste but very well done.

Hard to argue against the art on this steelbook being the best of the year for 2018. Not only did this movie win a ton of awards but now we get this beautiful steelbook to go with it. Compared to the $35+ price tags on some of the other 4k steelbooks, this is also a tremendous value for the money.

Well written, well acted. Heart warming. This is a love story. A twist on Beauty and the Beast. I hadn't seen this movie but heard it was very good so I decided to buy it. Glad that I did. A movie one could easily watch and enjoy at least once or twice a year . Good addition to my collection.

The color on this 4K disc is just beautiful. It’s dark and brooding yet saturated and vivid. The story is great. My favorite Universal Monster was Creature from the Black Lagoon. This movie is a far more interesting and darker take. It’s beautifully directed and acted and the cinematography is gorgeous.

All aspects of this film were extremely well done, but I thought the science fantasy setting, odd sexual situations, and disturbing images would prevent it from being a serious Oscar contender. I'm glad I was wrong. I highly recommend it, but warn that it is really not for kids, unless they are very mature.

Everything about this movie excels - the cinematography, the editing, the script, the lead actress. Without talking, Sally Hawkins completely conveys such a wide array of emotion. The video and audio are both excellent, but there could be some more special features.

If you like science fiction and saw Creature from the Black Lagoon, this story may appeal to you. The scenery and photography really set the tone. The love story is believable, but whether the subject matter will appeal to you will depend on your perspective. I rather liked it, but it may not be your cup of tea.
