Purchased based on Oscar reviews. Found the movie interesting in an odd way. I particularly liked the retro feel to the movie. The plot was odd buy enjoyable!

I’m a fan of Guillermo del Toro‘s films. I enjoy most of his movies but The Shape Of Water is trash. After it won all these awards, I was certain this must be his best-I was so wrong! Gee’s! How do they (Award folks) come up with who wins this or that? According to me, the film is a disaster. Great actors, great director-what went wrong? This isn’t worth a 2nd viewing to me; I’ll stick with Guillermo del Toro’s previous projects.

I was skeptical at first. I’m not usually a romance movie guy but it was a perfect mix of sci-fi and romance. The characters really popped for me.

Kind of different but glad to see some original thought coming from Hollywood. Good development and camera work. My best friend really enjoyed the movie.

I love a good movie. I love to own movies because our internet is poor where I live so streaming is not an option.

Enjoyed this movie mainly for the plot and subject matter of strange creatures and the reaction from humans toward the creature. Very entertaining.

Del Toro might have made The Shape of Water, but Sally Hawkins owns it. This adult fairy tale is perhaps the riskiest film of Guillermo del Toro's career, but those risks generally pay off.

This is another great movie from one of my favorite directors. You can tell how much he likes the cinematic experience especially with this movie.
