As a huge fan of Guiermo Del Torro, this film deserves a worthwhile look. I still say Pan’s Labyrinth was his best work thus far but The Shape of Water is a wonderful dark and magical tale of romance and friendship that’s i highly recommend. It is well acted and superbly directed. A must-see for fans of Del Torro for sure.

Guillermo del Toro delivers another unique story realized through beautiful design and endearing characters. The movie is not only about a love story, but it is also a love letter to classic movies and movie-making techniques. How well one enjoys this film will depend on the viewer's willingness to indulge in del Toro's vision.

Was so pleased to see that Best Buy would get this steelbook in. Originally only available oversees and thankful to be able to add it to the steelbook collection without importing. Movie is an outstanding production and deserving of such a great package!

The visual splendor of the Shape of Water is made even greater through the 4K experience at home. Don't listen to juvenile reviews about fish sex and other nonsense. This is a remarkable work of art that will be remembered among the best sci-fi works ever.

I liked the idea of the story and I like director Guillermo del Toro's visual style. You root for the unique relationship that develops between the protagonists. Michael Shannon is a believable villain who torments the sympathetic "creature." Very impressed!

A great movie that finally got director Guillermo del Toro the recognition he has deserved. I was thankful this SteelBook edition was released in the US after seeing it internationally. Gorgeous cover art that evokes the feeling of the overall film.

Guillermo Del Torro really Out did I Himself with this film. Never have I smiled so much a movie. Sally Hawkins was phenomenal & Octavia Spencer was hilarious. Michael Shannon is always a villain but he was beyond it in this one. Winner of 6 oscars! Must own!

This movie is very interesting. I watched it 3 times in 2 days. The picture quality is fantastic. I actually liked the regular blu-ray over the hdr version. The hdr version just seemed to dark. The regular blu-ray is perfect. Crisp detail and textures.

Save your money watch it on HBO or Showtime if they carry it I like Sci-Fi movies but this was some sex and nudity that should never been put into the movie they ruined it by putting it in.

Aside from the tech specs of this blu-ray being top notch, the movie itself is both a wonderful homage to not only monster movies of the past, but cinema in general. Guillermo Del Toro presents a masterpiece of a film that will give you all the feels!

It took me awhile for me to see this movie. And when I did I was pretty amazed. If you like old movies like Dracula and Godzilla and the mummy and Creature from the Black Lagoon then you will enjoy this movie quite a bit.

First...when you start watching it, you think it's going to be kid friendly but don't go past the scene where she gets in the bathtub because it has an extreme graphic situation. Other than that- movie is good. just don't watch it with the kids

I have wanting to see this for a while it was a good movie.

Been a Guillermo Del Toro fan for a long time, seeing him win big at the Oscars this year warmed my heart. For fans of Pan's Labyrinth, or "fringe" blockbusters, this is a must. Plus, the blu-ray/DVD combo with download is always appreciated

Guillermo Del Toro outdid himself with this film. I love everything about it. The look and feel and the wonderful acting are just a few of the amazing things about this film. Do yourself a favor and watch it immediately. Highly recommended!

Guillermo Del Toro is one of my favorite directors, I'm a bit sad I didn't get to see this movie in theaters. I watched it online and immediately fell in love with it. After watching the movie I drove to Best Buy to purchase my own copy.
