Watched the movie without reading any reviews to be as unbiased as possible. Even though it had its moments, this was nothing more than a lame attempt at a romantic movie. Just changed one of the main characters into a monster and voila... To me, it was over-hyped.

Big fan of Guillermo del Toro, especially his movies Pans Labyrinth and The Orphanage. That's the reason for purchasing the movie. Not sure if this is a lead up to HB given it's the same creature, but just strange at some points in the movie.

Very seldom do we have time for a movie night but we took a Saturday eve to relax and watch what we hoped was a great movie on our 4k 65" TV. The only thing we were entertained with was the colors, the movie was boring and pointless. Still trying to figure out why so many awards. If you just want to be entertained with no thought process this movie might work but if you want to remember watching this movie and to tell others how great is was, maybe not for you.

This is a weird movie! I don’t know if it deserved to win “Best Picture,” but I’m glad a genre film took home the big prize. I’ve heard it called “Grinding Nemo,” and that’s an apt description.

This is not a movie for everyone. It's a fairy tale. This is something that is made clear in the very beginning of the film. it did not live up to the hype it received during the academy awards ceremony.

Movie was ok . Not saying it was a bad movie just don't think it lived up to all the hype. Had some slow moments . Thought Michael Shannon did a great job . The 4k picture looked great on my TV .

This movie looks very good on my TV, but was disappointed by the overall story. It is not an action packed movie like I thought it would be.

I bought this for my wife. I had no intention of watching it. Unfortunately, I had to. I liked it I guess. Not my kind of movie but the wife is happy and that's what matters.
