This movie has all the features of a monster to be scared of but, with a worm heart that steals your hart and gets you to help him get away with the one thing he wanted the girl of his dream to go back with him to the ocean.

I really enjoyed the Shape of Water. It was a good story and directed very well by Del Toro - probably his best movie. But did not think it was Oscar Best Picture worthy. The 4K Blu ray disc has great audio/visual specs.

Hinks abound of the origins of the heroine's history. The love of water and the curious bound between she and the river monster serve as hidden clues to their ultimate bonding.

100% deserving of the Academy Award for best film. Sally Hawkins is wonderful, and Michael Shannon, as always, is incredible. Del Toro does it again. A must see for film fanatics.

Kind of like Beauty and the Beast but with a twist. A little bit of fantasy, and drama and romance all pooled together, not for everyone but is enjoyable if you're looking to get away from all CGI, space and shoot em up movies!!

and deserved all the academy awards it won. Take THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON and add a modern love story, and set it in 1962 Cold War America and get a masterpiece !

Guillermo del Toro brings his unique style and vision. This academy award winning movie is a sight to behold. Well worth watching again.

I was pretty blown away the first time I watched this film. So, I was not surprised to see it win best film at the Oscars. The 4K Blu-ray is excellent and highly recommended.

Splash meets creature from the black lagoon. Wonderful writing and lush cinematography with a touch of humor and romantic fantasy. It’s no wonder it won the Oscar for best film!

Very rare to see an original film anymore and Shape of Water is fantastic. May not be everyone's cup of tea but it's a great film for anyone who feels like an outsider.

I like this type of fantasy movie where a water human/monster is involved. People who treat it bad get their deserves. People who treat it nice are helped. Good movie. I traded it back in for the blueray version.

I hadn't even seen the movie yet, but I bought this because of how nice the steelbook itself looks! I love when these things look more like art pieces than products.

It was good, but his typical movie. If you liked anything he's done in the past, you will like this movie. Not giving spoilers about the movie. The 4K version is fantastic!

One of the most different films that I've ever watched. It's truly wonderful and very well acted. However, not for kids and not every adult will like it. 4k is excellent.
