The Shape of Water is another enchanting nightmare/horrific fairy tale from our modern maestro of monsters Guillermo del Toro - unconventional, emotional, even whimsical. Surely there's symbolism to be uncovered in the the cinematography and set/prop design's obsession with the color green.

Didn’t know whether to buy the 4K version or the regular Blu-ray, but honestly, the regular Blu-ray was perfect. Comes with a digital copy and, maybe my 4K Blu-ray player helps the regular Blu-ray Disc look sharper, not sure but worth buying on sale.

I am a fan of this director, Del Toro. I was looking for this special edition of his master piece The shape of the water and I consider it is a collector´s grade item! It has special scenes and features not found in normal editions. The tin package makes it a unique piece of collection!

I didn't find anything overly compelling about this movie. It passed the time, but nothing more.

If you haven't seen any of the films of Guillermo del Toro, you've done yourself a disservice. Buy this now, and all his others: I highly recommend Pan's Labyrinth. And his Hellboy films...and the director's cut of Mimic...and, well, All his films.

Great movie, if you like Guillermo del Toro Spanish filmography you will love this one, if you are just a fan of his big blockbusters like Pacific Rim and Blade 2 be careful, it is not an action flick. 4K blu ray is excellent, color palette looks amazing in Ultra High Definition. Recommended.

What a wonderfully written story. At it's core it is a transcending love story that also involves secret government experiments, bad guys and good guys and a great ending. Well cast and performed this is a great addition to anyone's movie collection.

This movie is definitely worth the buy! It got a lot of hype and won several Oscars including best picture so I decided to give it a try. If you are even thinking about watching this I recommend buying it! It’s a visual masterpiece and definitely deserved the Oscar for best picture!

It’s nice to purchase both dvd and Blu-ray in one package. This was an excellent movie. Easy to find in Best Buy as the movies are alphabetical which makes finding what you want effortless and quick so you can shop for other items.

The movie starts out a little slow as a storyline builds up it becomes a truly classic Love Story between two totally different people from different worlds and yet in the end managed to find love in each other it's a really cute movie

A very different movie. Quirky yet beautiful. I love to be surprised, it happens so rarely at my late stage of life. I will watch again to see more of the nuances. Strange reviews from some people .... this is not a children's movie, don't know why they reviewed it like one. It was like Fantasy meets crazy spy movie in a Science fiction tale.

The movie was not what I expected. It was most certainly different. I did like the ending.

If you’re into sci fi with romance then this movie is for you. It may seem odd at first about the couple but the ending has a deeper meaning if you look at all the hints about the main character throughout the movie. Great directing and acting for someone with no dialogue.

Very happy that Guillermo del Toro got his just recognition as the great director he is. Sally Hawkins gives a masterful performance as well. As for the SteelBook, I'm so happy this was released domestically. I had an order in to import this SteelBook from overseas!

Definitely did not live up to the hype for me. But it's not a terrible movie though.

This was so worth watching! It was an excellent movie that captured my attention from the beginning! I love stories that make you want to keep watching and waiting to see what happens next! I highly recommend seeing this!

"The Shape of Water" was one of the best movies of 2017: a breathtaking, visually rich, and emotionally resonant story of the relationship between a mute woman and a water creature in Cold War-era Baltimore. The Blu Ray looks and sounds terrific, too--a top-notch transfer.

I'm so glad this won the Oscar for Best Picture. Unlike any story I've seen before and filled with a cast of so many of my favorites. Michael Shannon becomes unhinged, Richard Jenkins eclectic brilliance, and Sally Hawkins brought a whole new layer with her sign language.

Even though I'm usually drawn to Del Toro's films for his horror elements and unique brand of storytelling, enough can't be said for the beautiful cinematography of his frequent collaborator Dan Laustsen. Great drama, humor and nuance.

It's a wonderful dark fantasy/romance film. You may have an idea of what this movie is but it moves and changes like most movies don't theses days. The movie I would give 5 stars, I rated the product 4 stars because DVDs can have more than a making of for bonus features. They used to be loaded with content. Great movie
