Its a fairytale made for adults. The music and the cinematography is very beautiful and the 4k disc helps with the presentation

The Shape of Water is a great movie by genius Del Toro with some faces that we are unaccustomed to seeing on the big screen. Great screenplay and poignant storyline make this an amazing choice!

The Shape of Water had a lot of Academy buzz, and I gave it a higher rating based on the look (good production, acting and visuals), but maybe I was expecting a bit more based on that Academy buzz.

I enjoyed this movie, but don't fall asleep while watching it...you have to pay attention. Really different from other movies I am used to watching but a welcome change.
