This is one of my favorite movies. The 4K format had a beautiful, sharp picture and the sound was excellent. Great addition to my movie collection.

I was blown away the first time I saw the shawshank redemption. It truly is one of the most universal films of all time and has remained relevant being released almost 20 years ago. I was so excited to buy the steel book at such a affordable price and add it to my collection

I've always loved this movie. I owned it on DVD so the sale price was all I needed to upgrade to 4k. A great transfer, the sound is highly acceptable.

Never saw this until it came out in 4k. Glad I picked it up in 4k, but I've no way to know how big of an upgrade it is if you have the blu ray already.

A well-written movie and I enjoy that I can pull it from my personal archives anytime I see fit!

This film is a MUST SEE. The characters are in a prison. They overcome the problems of corruption and the restictive setting with friendship, courage, humor and creative non-violent rebellion. Outstanding acting. Inspiring. Big impact. One of the best films I've seen.

One of Stephen King's short stories gets a great movie adaptation. Blu-Ray is the version to get but if you have the dvd it may not warrant the purchase. I think the minor upgrades are worth it and recommend a purchase for fans of the film.

A much loved movie with a different look color wise that I find is more appropriate to its prison setting. This to me is the best transfer yet.

This movie is one that I watch every time it comes on. I purchased the regular DVD a couple of months back because they didn't have the blu-ray. But when I went back this time they had it and I wasn't even looking for it. Got it at an excellent price too.

I personally am not fond of purple-ish design used for the steelbook, its fine, nevertheless. Definitely one of the best movie, looking great in 4K.
