Everyone told me how good this movie was & I didn’t believe till I finally watched it & holy cow they were so right. It’s long a movie but so great to watch. A must for everyone

We love watching this wonderful film over and over. We especially enjoy watching the digital 4K version that came with the purchase. Great experience!

First and foremost, I love Morgan Lee Freeman!!! He is a great actor! This movie's plot is insane and not to mention the scenes! I do not believe no one could not love this movie. My boyfriend introduced me to the movie awhile back because I always heard not it and never saw it. I AM GLAD HE DID!!!!!

One of the great movies. Everyone has seen this movie at least 37 times by now. But this disc finally showcases the film's beautiful cinematography. Buy it again, for the first time!

Excellent movie, and I love the SteelBook cover art on this release. It is more impressive in person--having a texture quality that is not represented well in photos.

Great movie I love that they came out with a 4k dvd version. I owned the standard version and watching the 4k version there is no comparison. Glad I purchased this classic.

All time great movie. A must watch for everyone at some point in life. Bombed in the theaters but it sure took off after that.

The 3rd best Stephen King movie ever. This should have wom best picture in 1994. One of the best films ever made, directed, acted and written. This is an example of a perfect movie.

This movie looks outstanding in 4k. Not a colorful movie but the detail is stupendous. One of the better adaptations of a Stephen King piece of work.

packaging stated digital version was included. It was not. turns out that this was a walmart returned item, because to get the digital version you had to sign up for walmarts rewards plan. boo!

You don’t need me to tell you this is an all time movie, and it has never looked better than it does in 4k. Definitely buy if you’re a fan. The disc played perfectly as well

One of the greatest movies of all time! A must-have, in any collection. Tim Robbins & Morgan Freeman are superb. I love how the movie never answers the question: Did Andy really commit the crime?

Love this move ! It's great, keep's you watching and waiting to see what's going to happen next. Your cheering on the good good guy and hope all goes well. I said to much. So get it and see how it goes.

I heard from my mother & my wife's dad that this movie is a classic. I finally watched it because of the 4K release. WOW glad I did one of the best movies I have ever seen!

One of the greatest movies ever made. Nearly follows the Stephen King book to the letter. No one should not have seen Shawshank Redemption. The ending is awesome.

This movie grabs me every time I run across it and I end up watching it until the end. So when I finally saw the4K Steebook was in stock, I had to have it for my collection!!

It would take me too long to write about all the wonderful things about this movie. Everyone should see this movie at some point in his/her life. I watch it every time I can catch it on amc, bravo or TNT. I'm going to stop right here. Go get this movie and watch (and enjoy) it for yourself.

A true classic moved to bluray. Absolute must for your DVD library and there is truly a much better picture on the bluray format. If you do not have this movie buy it now. Highly recommended.
