    One of the best of the prison movies. Had it on DVD but wanted to see what I was missing on the Bluray. For $5 bucks it was well worth it.

    The Shawshank Redemption is partially redeemed with this 4K upgrade in the picture department. There is a distinct shift in color tone throughout accompanied by an increase in detail. So not a flawless transfer, but still a solid attempt.
