I have now, two steelbooks for this movie. And a total of 3 dips for this one. My favorite “horror” thriller movie. My most rewatched movie, up there with Reservoir Dogs and The Hateful Eight.

Though I already owned this title for my Kubrick collection, I was eager to pick up this unique looking steelbook with the door against a black background and the interior sleeve art of the axe coming through the door!

An absolute legendary Kubrik cult classic released on 4K. How could I pass up the opportunity to add this to my collection? I was not looking to pick this up but couldn't resist @ Black Friday prices.

Fantastic classic thriller and easily the best it's looked at home. 5/5 film 5/5 sound and picture quality. This is exactly the type of film that shows off your home set up.

This transfer from film. Really shows the potential of 4K transfers for older movies. It looks incredible, the sound is great. And just the right amount of film green. A must have for true collectors and cinephiles like.

This movie looks like it was just made in 2020 with the 4K upgrade, and the sound is perfect. This movie is only known for its standing shots and cinematography and in crystal-clear 4K it looks like you are there!!

A flawless 4K transfer of one of the best horror films ever made, in one of the most intricate and attractive steelbook cases I've ever seen. If you're a collector or a fan, you won't be disappointed.

This is the definitive edition of The Shining. The steelbook looks incredible and the 4K looks amazing. The special features are all great too. If you love The Shining you won’t regret having this on your shelf.

Great picture quality, great sound, it's the Shining in 4k. I guess most people find this movie scary but I think it's hilarious.

It's always nice to see studios give the classics high quality restorations and The Shining is no different. This is also one of the few releases to include a remastered 1080p Blu-ray as well which is always welcome.

This film looks amazing and so much more colorful and alive. You'll feel like you're staying at the incredibly haunted Overlook Hotel. It's a beautiful remaster that makes this film look brand new!

Great steel book package for one of the greatest horror films by one of the greatest directors of all time. I guess too many “greats” in one sentence? Anyway it was a great purchase!

This is another Warner Bros film that you should get on 4K because it has really good HDR and quality of the picture. And it is a great horror film for any Kubrick or horror fans to get in your home!

The Shining is such a good movie and this 4K remaster of it is incredible along with the amazing Steelbook packaging. I’d advise any collector of physical media to purchase this (if it’s not sold out!)

A classic movie in not only the horror genre, but classic movie in film history. So many classic quotes, memorable lines and scenes. This movie is a must watch. Nicholson was born to play this role and who could forget about those two creepy girls.

If only they could all look as good as The Shining in 4K....truly outstanding release and a stellar example of what some TLC can do to a film that is 30 years old.

In my opinion, The Shining is the greatest horror film ever made. It is perfect in its execution, and one of the most rewatchable movies I’ve ever seen. A must own for any movie enthusiast.

Stanley Kubrick movies transferred to 4k are probably some of the best transfers to date. You can tell the transfer was die from the original film not just a digital up convert. Also a great movie in general.

I am completely blown away with this transfer! The Shining has NEVER looked this good! Believe all the hype. If you are a Kubrick fan, Shining fan, or even just a movie enthusiast I highly recommend this disc.

Quite possibly the best horror movie of all time. The technical aspects are all scary good. Definitely pick this up
