This movie looks great in 4k. Love re-watching this movie at this high resolution. Such a big difference from the last time I watched it years ago. Worth a purchase.

If you have never seen this movie it is definitely worth the watch. Jack is an inn keeper at a lodge that is closed for the winter but starts to go stir crazy as other occurrences also happen. Don't want to ruin the movie but this is a must see.

A great steelbook for a classic movie. Everything you’d expect. I don’t open these, I just collect the steelbooks so I can’t comment on contents but I’m very happy with the purchase.

The Shining in 4K is just wow. Not going to understand the film any better, but it is grand to see so much more detail, and get that lovely filmic 4K. Highly recommended!

Excellent 4K transfer with a 185:1 aspect ratio that fills the entire screen. Classic horror and suspense with masterful cinematography. Watch it on a cold snowy night with the lights off.

The Shining. a Horror classic. How can you make it better? Enter 4K TV, Soundbar for surround sound, AND 4K DVD. This remastered 4K version brought the scares to life on a whole new scale!

Jack Nicholson absolutely shines in this one. Shelley Duvall’s scream was authentic in that iconic scene. The 4K quality is excellent for such an old movie.

Regardless of how you read the film, there's little denying that it's a masterful work. Maybe a little dated now, but still very enjoyable. The steebook edition packaging is really cool so had to pick it up.

Jack Nicholson in a career defining role. It’s a unique movie that has rewatch potential. The remaster has been done well and likely the ultimate version to own.

It's amazing how a classic can be viewed in a whole new light as the transfer to the 4K is absolutely stunning... easily worth the price of upgrade and highly recommended!

This movie is a classic whether you’re a fan of horror, or just a fan of movies in general. This has a great doc on The Shining and it’s pure candy for fans to consume.

"The Shining" is one of those horror movies where the suspense slowly builds into a great climax that, dare I say - in my opinion, is much better than the ending of the Stephen King novel. This classic looks great on Blu Ray!

Once you find it on sale, get it and enjoy. The 4K version is well worth the upgrade. The did it right. The movies anywhere digital copy is a perfect bonus.

Great looking steelbook of one the best horror movies of all-time. Very good price as well at 12.99. Only minor complaint is I would have liked it to include a digital copy and maybe the dvd as well.

Kubrick films are the definition of must owns on 4K. You will never find another filmmaker with such an eye- and The Shining is hauntingly beautiful on the newer format.
