If you want a classic movie with a funny, weird and creepy mix in it then you will love this. It's better than the Stephen King version and I highly recommend this version.

Great price point for a standard quality HD transfer of an all-time great of the horror genre. Not much in the way of bonus features but enjoy the minimalist box art for a nice shelf appearance.

Picture is absolutely astounding; the 4k restoration transports you to the Overlook Hotel. The steelbook packaging is clever, evoking the original theatrical poster. Love it.

Kubrick fans might end up waiting for a lifetime for the whole collection to be released 4K. I decided I wouldn’t wait and viewing this release fully justified my decision.

I saw this movie for the first time when I was five years old. It took a toll on my fear for a while and to tell you the truth it's just as scary today. If you're in the mood not to sleep I recommend this movie!

Such a great movie! I bought it because it's one of my all time favorite scary movies, and my son, his girlfriend, and I watched it together after I received it. It's not the most fast paced movie, but it's very well done, and creepy.

The Shining is a must buy for anyone’s collection. Film people need this, and the steelbook is great. 4K quality really steps it up a notch from the old versions.

From the very first time I saw this movie I instantly fell in love with it. Always wanted to buy this movie but could never find it. Lucky for me Best Buy had it on special for 9.99 and I knew I had to have it.

This movie is beloved by horror movie fans everywhere for a reason. Yes it's wildly different from the book but that doesn't really matter. The hotel is scary and the performances are blood curdling.

If you have seen The Shining, you know it is one of the greatest horror films ever made. Long tracking shots create a boiling pot of tension that is masterfully resolved in the final act.

I love this move. Even the kids like this although it can be gory. I love the ending. Jack Nicholson is amazing. "I'm not gonna hurt ya. I'm just gonna bash your brains in". That is the most amazing line. Along with "redrum"

Classic film given new life on a new video format. Sound is excellent, picture is excellent, you need to buy this now if you are a lover of cinema.

Since watching Doctor Sleep, I wanted to revisit The Shining world! Overall picture quality sound is astonishing. For a picture almost 40 years old, it looks fantastic!

This classic is spectacular in the 4K version!! They don’t make these types of movies anymore!!

Great cast, director, screen writer and of course the story is from the classic horror expert, Stephen King. Through all that into a witches kettle and you have The Shinning. It will keep you awake at night!
