Steven King brought to life. This really does not follow the book at all, but it is still a mental scary movie.

They did a great job on remaster this movie. Everything look a lot nicer on sound and video quality wise.

This steel book is awesome. I have loved this movie since I was a kid and not to be able to add it to my steel book collection.

The Shining is a Stephen King classic. Once you see it, you will not forget. DVD presented with (it seems) many additional clips and extras. RED RUM...REDRUM

This movie still scares me to this day! Jack Nicholson naturally looks sinister and is an excellent actor.

Added this to my BluRay collection this year since my kids are old enough now to watch. They loved it!! Classic scary movie that is a must see.

One of my best looking blu rays. Picture quality is amazing for such an old film.

Movie is great but 4K is kind of worthless. I was looking forward to the opening scene flying through the mountains in 4K. Well it wasn’t any better than the blue ray. Any higher resolution than 1080 is pointless. Too grainy.

No need to review the film, we all know its great. The 4k version is stunning, absolutely beautiful. Buy this!

All time great Stephen King.. wonderful author ..also recommend reading Dr sleep..it's the story of Danny Torrence all grown up..

This movie came out in the 1970s. I loved it so much I spent all of the next two days reading the book. Jack Nicholson is awesome in his role.

The move to Blu-ray makes the move great however I had an issue with the turning the sound up and down depending on the scene. If it was a slow scene, then I saw myself turning the volume up but when their was an action scene, I would have to turn the volume down. Overall I am happy with the purchase and it is a classic that any Kubrick fan should have

I Never Read The Book, But The Movie Is All I Need To Creep Me Out When I'm All Alone. Watch With A Friend.
