    Reading the book then watching the movie was better than the other way around because the book was about the boy and the movie was about the father. The sequel should be better with new CGI effects available

    So I was sent an email from Best Buy with a $5 reward certificate that was about to expire soon and went to the store and found a great horror movie- The Shining- for exactly that amount! Score!
