I saw this when it came out years ago and this movie brought me right back to being scared which is why I like scary movies.

Not reference quality but if you don’t own the blu Ray this version is the better one to have. Yes the ball is yellow now

The only other time I've seen THE SHINING look this good was in a special 70mm screening five years ago. Just immaculate.

This is a major improvement from the 2009 Blu-ray. The HDR makes a huge difference in many scenes. Would highly recommend.

Great movie. Wish more horror movies were like this. The music and the build up to what happens is what makes it great.

I didn't love the movie, but I DID enjoy it enough to want it in my library. The blu-ray was on sale on black Friday, so I took advantage of the opportunity. I won't bother describing the movie, it's been out long enough that anyone interested in it will already know all they need to.

Absolutely amazing transfer. Dolby Vision HDR is a revelation. Wish we had the original mini track as well. A must buy!
