Best horror movie ever and legendary acting by Jack

A film where an author hates the film adaptation but loved by audiences for its slowly paced thrill and chills. A film that needed to be restored in 4K quality. A fine piece of filmmaking

I have found that the 4K disc has a big skip or defect on one of the ending scenes. I exchanged for another copy, the second did this as well. Everything in the package is excellent however

The Shining will always hold up, but seeing it in 4k brings new life and sucks you in from the start. With the digital copy included, this is a worthy pick-up to add to your collection.

How can you beat one of Stanley Kubrick's greatest films? By making a 4K version! Packed with awesome extras, and a steelbook to boot, this is the best version of the movie money can buy.

First of all I really love this steelbook version of this Blu Ray. It looks great as an addition to my collection. Jack Nicholson is one of my favorite actors ever and is exceptional in this film.

I have bought the various format releases of this movie over the years and never has it looked so good. The colors and detail are great and the sound blew me away. Easy to recommend.

A classic film that has had some of it's best bits shown in dozens of other movies. It's the perfect prequel before watching Doctor Sleep. I them remember seeing this movie on it's opening night, a packed theatre, the anticipation and the analyzing on the way out. It's great having these classics at home and being able to see them whenever you want, ever if you're having satellite problems.

Never saw the movie and always heard it was great. Decided to pick it up and add it to my movie collection. Very happy that I did. Another wonderful movie inspired by Stephen king

This is one of my favorite movies and favorite all time horror movies. It toys with your emotions and completely feels you with unease and makes you not want to go to bed at night

What else is there to say about this movie? It’s a classic, it has some of the most memorable and quotable lines in film history and Jack Nicholson puts on a stellar performance.

The film has been praised numerous times but it’s still fantastic. The upgrade to 4K was crisp and clear. All time favorite horror movie that any fan should definitely check out.

The 4K version of this film is outstanding. It's amazing how clear and beautiful the colors are compared to the dvd or bluray. I was impressed and highly recommend this edition.

Great edition of this movie. Picture is a definite upgrade over the DVD, can't speak to the blu ray. Steelbook packaging was worth the extra few dollars, if you're in to that.

Stanley Kubrick's adaptation of Stephen King's novel may not be the most comprehensive or even the slowest to the source material however it is a staple of the horror genre.

One of my all time favorite films!! Classic film finally in 4K with an amazing transfer. Must own! Also, great limited exclusive steelbook. Get it before it's gone. Dont wait!

YES! Couldn't believe my eyes when they saw this amazing release in the Best Buy store. If you continue to give great movies such treatments, you can have all of my money.

Atmospheric, intense, a horror movie that greatly builds and builds tension until the very last frame. The Shining is a prime example of horror and suspense done correctly.
