Surely you're familiar with the Shining by now, but the steel is awesome. I love the maze design. Glad they went with that over Jack's face or something. Overdone.

One of the best movies ever, and the 4K makes it look even better. Best Buy had an amazing sale on it too, so I would purchase from them again.

Great cast, director, screen writer and of course the story is from the classic horror expert, Stephen King. Through all that into a witches kettle and you have The Shinning. It will keep you awake at night!

This movie right here, is probably the perfect 80s horror film! Top notch performance by Jack Nicholson, which I personally think it's still his best work! The Shining goes down as one of the best horror movies of all time!

One of Stephen King's Greatest stories! Awesome filming for hotels in this, Great performances from Jack Nicholson, Shelly Duvall, and Danny Lloyd. I wonder if the overlook had a Pool? LOL.

when Jack Nicholson and Stephen King get together there is nothing more than brilliance. when nicholson takes the spychotic angle, by losing himself in this classic horror story. It's a great movie to have in anyone's collection.

What a gorgeous presentation of this classic. No point in speaking of the movie, as its been around forever. But man is this a great transfer...See it again!

If the kids want some fright night flick, this will serve. If the kids are brainy and budding cinephiles they will want to recommend it to their grandkids - and watch it with them to be immersed in Kubrick's masterful vision.

Greatest horror movie of all time. It's really the music that clinches the deal.

I have heard that this movie strays from the book, but it's so well made that I don't mind. The creep factor is so high, and the consistency in tone is so expertly executed, this goes down as the scariest movie I've ever seen.

What can I say? Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duval keep us on the edge of our seats. All work and no play make Jack a dull boy and this is anything but.

This looks great in 4k. Even though it was filmed in the 70s, it looks stunning. Recommend this if you havent seen it or want to rewatch it.

I sometimes wonder if 4K upgrades for an old movies is worth it. In the case of The Shining the answer to that is absolutely yes. The image quality is stunning.

The Blu-ray quality is great. I've always thought this movie was a bit overrated but I got it on sale.
