One of the greatest musicals ever now in HD. Good conversion overall. The sound and songs are great. If you haven't seen it...or if your kids have not...get it for them.

My six year old, who generally prefers movies with superheroes and lasers, actually enjoyed this film - which really speaks to its incredible appeal.

This has to be one of my all time favorite musicals. And the fact that it is based on a real family makes the appeal all the greater.

...that I did not buy two of these! Bought as a gift for our daughter and it was the 50th Anniversary version. Should have gotten one for myself!

For fans of the film it is a great release on blu-ray. The second disc provides a documentary about Salzburg that non-fans will enjoy.

Excellent Blu-Ray of a classic movie. All the actors, the bits of English and feminist history, the singing and dancing make it one of Disney's best!

I love this movie, my toddler loves this, but the best part is the music machine. It plays all the songs, while skipping the dialog.

This was on sale on Black Friday, so I picked up a copy. I’m glad I did, such a great movie.

I bought this movie because it is one of my favorites, and, of course it didn't disappoint. I love Julie Andrews and the Sound of Music is a classic!
