The Star is a great movie that depicts the story of Jesus in a way that is fun for kids and entertaining for the family without missing out on anything important. This a very good movie. It tells the story of a donkey named Bo who runs away from a mill where he is not happy. He meets Ruth the sheep and Dave the dove as well as some other animals. They follow the star and end up becoming a part of the greatest story ever told, the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!!! Enjoy this movie with your children and teach them the real meaning of Christmas!!!

I love this Christmas movie! I remember taking my daughter to see it in the theatre and we loved it, I tried to find it streaming and didn’t find it on any service. Great price for the bluray/DVD/digital combo. Got it on my Movies Anywhere now so we can watch it every Christmas season! Super cute movie, love all the animals! So funny and great story.

I love all the animal characters. Interesting version of an old story.

My 7 year old son has asked me for this movie every time we go into Best Buy. I finally caved when it went on sale. Both of my kids loved every second on the movie. It is religious taking after stories from the Bible so I was quite pleased they really wanted to see this movie and help further along what they are learning in Catholic School. I watched part of the movie and as a parent can easily give it my endorsement.

This movie is amazing! We love the creativity of the story of Christmas being told through the perspective of the manger animals. The characters are captivating and fun. There are several funny lines and scenes without being disrespectful to the sanctity of the story or campy. A must for Christmas movies!
