Great movie better than the other suicide squad great 4k

The cast is terrific, most notably Margot Robbie, reprising her Harley Quinn role from an earlier "Suicide Squad" movie I never saw and the fabulous Birds of Prey. I really love her Harley, a psychopath with a heart of gold and killer reflexes who moves through the film like a chaos agent, fearless and improvident (if I ever watch the first, reputedly terrible Suicide Squad movie, it will be entirely due to Robbie). While the movie is crazy and hilarious, it also manages to put a little heart in, notably in the father/daughter vibe between Idris Elba and Daniela Melchior. Zach Snyder, who attempted and failed to create emotional resonance in Army of the Dead with a similar approach, should watch this movie over and over until he understands how to fit deep emotion and crazy action into a single film. This is a terrific movie, every bit as good as director James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy films, and you should definitely watch it.

I purchased the standard release (as opposed to the Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook) of The Suicide Squad (2021) [4K UHD Blu-ray + Blu-ray + Digital Copy] and couldn't be happier. Good movie that looks great on 4K.

I went into this not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely entertaining, though nothing ground breaking. The 4K presentation is solid as well: both the picture quality and sound were stunning at times. Overall an edgy, funny and action-packed picture: worth the watch to see the characters.

I really liked this movie. It's alot better than the last suicide squad movie and better than some of the anime suicide squad movies to. The story line was alot better and had lot of action and comedy. It's a great movie and hope they keep making more of the same.

This one was unique and different from other comic book movies. You have a bunch of untrustworthy people who have to some how trust each other to get a mission done. Solid storyline and crazy good special effects.

I am very pleased with the pur hase of this movie, especially in 4k format. The picture quality is great along with the sound quality. I really enjoyed the movie and how it branched off of the first movie.

Filmed in full imax ratio with no letterbox bars and the audio is in Dolby Atmos. One of the cleanest movies to come up this year. No film grain. Colors have really good pop and saturation. The digital effects blend in well with the live action.

This movie is not for everyone. I personally found it fun and hilarious. But I also know people who couldn't stand it. However, if you do enjoy it, 4k is the way to buy it. The picture quality is amazing and the sound rocks my system and my seat.

Not to be confused with 2016’s Suicide Squad, James Gunns The Suicide Squad vastly improved in the original. Better writing, better action and relatable characters really make this one stand out

For starters I personally prefer MCU movies over DC movies. I do however love any and all all superhero’s. With that being said this movie was a massive surprise. It is hands down one of the best DC movies released in the last few years. This movie is miles better than it’s original so don’t let that deter you. The unique and like able characters and how they come together is the center of the story. This 4K movie in particular is phenomenal. The audio is great and the visual is bright, beautiful and vivid. This movie is a must watch for any superhero fan though please be aware the movie is rated R as if is very violent so definitely not recommended for children. Really nice when we can get a good R rated mature superhero movie. This movie is what the original could have been and the concept perfectly executed.

This film left me very surprised with how much there was to enjoy about it on several different levels. The narrative, while not wholly original, even reminiscent of Gunn's past films at times, is simple enough to follow while still offering a few surprises along the way. The film really shines with its action; Harley Quinn's solo sequence is potentially one of the best action pieces in any of the recent DC films. The visuals overall are very strong with the way that some elements appear intentionally desaturated, thereby allowing certain colorful elements to really pop, especially with the HDR. The humor usually lands, and the gore is just shocking enough without being over gratuitous. Overall, an entertaining film that does a decent job showing off the high points of 4K and HDR.

Love the movie. The last one was soo bad that surely they couldn't make anything worse and to my surprise, they didn't. This one is a very big improvement not only their storytelling, but with the writing and humor. Don't let the first one ruin you're experience.

Wish the steel book had less red but the front design is awesome.

Big fan of what James Gunn did with the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and this is inline with the sense of humor he uses in his movies, which feels like more of the same. Would have liked more from the film but definitely better thank the original Suicide Squad.

So glad I bought the 4K disc version of this movie! I enjoyed watching it in theaters and will love re-watching it at a moment’s notice! Quality is much better than 4k streaming version as well

Saw this in the theater and thought it would look/sound great in our theater room. Amazing Dolby Atmos sound and 4K picture: this version is dramatically better than the original. I was surprised that I like this movie as much as I do.
