Just not a great movie. Mildly entertaining, with the only highlight the magic battle. When Arthur finally gets the sword from the stone the movie is over and the cool stuff (knights, the round table) comes after. Nothing really to keep the kids interested. Mine said it was okay. I bet it never comes out of the movie cabinet again. Still, anything is better than Emoji Movie, Boss Baby, Happy Feet or Home on the Range. Those just stink. This was just boring.

decent disney movie. i didn't like it personally. but kids enjoyed it. one time was enough for me. there are other disney classics that are far better.

This is a good deal for the price but it’s begging for a new transfer by Disney. Still recommend but wish picture quality were better.

Bought this for my Grandson. Surprisingly, he liked it without all the bells and whistles of the new animated movies

It may not be ranked up with the classics, but it is entertaining nonetheless. Favorite part is the Wizard's Dual.

I wasn't too impressed with what I thought was a prolonged story of a boy and a wizard instead of a sword in the stone.

Sword in the stone is a good Disney film but not they're best work by far. Catch it on sale for the collection.

Watched it as a kid..and enjoyed it..now I bought it..so I could show it to my kids..

This is an old Disney classic, the first Disney animated movie in widescreen format.

This isn't my favorite Disney movie, but I'm glad to have it in our collection.

The nostalgia alone is what will have to satisfy me with this blu ray release because the picture looks like a photoshop filter was laid over the whole movie. Really a shame that this was the course of action taken to clean up the picture for an HD release. Very poor job. Still love the movie though!

Mildly entertaining from the past. Wish the ending wasn't so abrupt.

I had upgraded my older original DVD of Sword and the Stone to the new Blu-Ray/DVD/DC edition. I was excited to add this film to my digital collection on my laptop for travel. However, the DC is not hooked to Itunes (like all previous Disney films) nor Ultraviolet (of which I am not a fan of). In order to obtain a DC of this film I had to sign up for either Amazon or Vudu. Turns out my devices are not eligible for Amazon so that left Vudu which was a nightmare to try to get installed, etc. In the end I did not get Vudu because of so many issues, so there went my DC of the film. I contacted Disney and was informed that there were about 6 films to date that are using this new DC format. I informed them of the issues I was having and hoped that they would not stick with this format. In future I will not be upgrading any of my older Disney DVD films if this DC format is what they are going to stick with.

Not the best of the Disney classics but still pretty good. Worth buying.

When I can watch movie, it will bring back some good memories.

My kids and wife loved this movie. Another classic in the making.
