The quality for this "grainy" film is just superb. An old film shot low budget. The sound is also much clearer than on the older formats. This is a must for the TCM collector.

Horror classic. This transfer is good. Best it has ever looked.

Any old horror movie fans should own this classic. The Anniversary edition looks and sounds great, the extras are definately worth owning this version. I would have given this 5 stars, but the blu ray transfer was done so well, it does take away from the old grainy look that makes the movie a bit more dark, other than that no complaints.

As a horror-franchise fan in general, I had to pick this up. It was worth every penny. The remaster is fantastic and the extras will be keeping me busy for a very long time.

I've owned 5 copies of this film before I purchased this copy and I have to say the picture & sound quality on this edition are excellent. a must have for any fan of TCSM...

Great movie. Didn't know they had a new collectors edition. The steelcase its very ilustrative and nice to the touch. Loved the extras in it.

Alright, when I first saw saw this thing I thought it was so dumb I just had to buy it. That right there should tell you about the product and my idiocy in one swoop. The transfer to Blu-ray is good but otherwise its the same old TCSM with four commentaries on it. The apron in the package is nothing special for all those out there looking for collectible(and display-able) items. I'll probably end up using it as an actual ordinary kitchen apron. The "mini" poster is nice but of a small and unusual size so it will be hard for me to frame like I do my other posters. I don't regret the purchase but at the time I did have money to burn (no longer the case). I would skip this if you already own the movie or unless you are a die hard fan and have to buy every version they release which seems every few years. Who knows what weirdness will be invented for the Fiftieth Anniversary package since this is only the fortieth.
