I bought this for my boyfriend who is a huge TCM fan. He loved the artwork on the case and couldn't wait to watch everything included on the discs.

Looks great and very entertaining. The last attempt at Godzilla was still fresh in my memory, so I wasn't expecting much, but this one was a blast.

It's simply just okay, this is more for hardcore Chainsaw fans out there especially those who have a 4K player and a 4K TV too. It's possibly the best version of the original film than the regular blu ray copy and DVDs of course. Still a grainy mess but I guess if you're a huge fan, go for it.

My son couldn't wait until this anniversary edition came out on Blu-Ray. He collects movies so he was very happy to add this to his collection.

The steelbook has awesome art and a good quality transfer to HD.

The 2018 blu-ray re-release of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre had me very excited to say the least. I already own a collector’s edition 2-disc DVD steelbook from 2006, but was very happy for the opportunity of an upgrade. Well, was I mistaken. The new blu-ray is pale in comparison to the older DVD. It is a less stylized design, offers the same special features, and doesn’t even come with a digital copy. So, I ask myself, what was the point of the re-release other than to sucker in die hard Chainsaw fans and steelbook collectors. It’s not terrible, and for those who didn’t purchase the awesome 2006 DVD steelbook, I’m sure it will satisfy. But for me, it was somewhat of a letdown.

The movie looks great for how old it is, i've read of some audio problems but to the casual viewer, it won't bug you, awesome packaging.
