This is an oldie, but goodie. I have loved this movie ever since the first time I watched it. I had to get this steelbook due to how much I love this movie. The outside looks extremely cool, but the inside disappointed me by only being black with no images. They also just reused the same 40th anniversary disc instead of putting some new art work on it. Otherwise, still glad that I got it. The 4 out of 5 stars is due to the steelbook, not the movie. The movie is a full on 5 out of 5 all day.

Can’t beat this one...kept me up for nights as a kid!!! Definitely one of THE classic horror movies! Guaranteed to give you chills and make you look around while watching! Oh...and hearing a chainsaw will NEVER be the same after this one!!!

As a collector, I am always on the lookout for interesting cases and unique movies, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the better classic slasher films. The 40th Anniversary Edition is a very cool fold out movie case and the remastering is pretty good for as old as it is. For $20 you can't really go wrong.

This movie seems to be overlooked, when it comes to talking about the best horror movies ever made. And instead of remaking Halloween, Rob Zombie would have been perfect for a TCM reboot.

One of the best horror films of all time. Truly terrifying and unsettling. The reboots and remakes do not hold a candle to the original. True horror. Absolutely the best.

Love this movie, and this edition in 4K is excellent. This movie was grainy in its original format, and it still a little grainy because of the way it was filmed. With that being said, this edition is the best quality I have seen.

This movie is what started the masked killer craze. An amazingly shot film, the views and scenery is a character of its own. Leatherface is by far one of the most impressively underrated movie slashers in today's world.

Texas Chainsaw is one of my all time movies, and after owning several version and formats of this movie, this is the definitive version. The 4k master and upgraded sound quality make this scary movie even better. Plus the boatload of features make this a no brainer purchase for any horror fan

Untill America gets a 4k edition this is the best edition of the film yet. The colors pop and the images are as clean as this source can provide

I’ve been wanting to add this one to the collection for a while. I was holding out for a 4K but it was on sale for $10 so I couldn’t pass it up.

This film is a classic! I love the steelbook, but as with all steelbooks, I wish these were truly collectable. I wish that Best Buy would number them and limit the production run to 1,000 or something like that. Make it something you HAVE to have.

Classic horror movie, one for the ages. The remake to this does not do this original any justice whatsoever. This family is insane and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. If you have never seen this but saw and liked the remake, I highly recommend checking this out.

Classic horror, sure. But would you look at this Steelbook? It's gorgeous (if you can call it that). Excellent price to upgrade my decades-old DVD.

Awesome little steel book for a great price. Movie has some sweet commentary tracks too. This is a classic and a must own for any horror collector.

Wanted to recently watch the original film and saw the steelbook for a nice price. Steelbook is great just wish it had a cool design on the inside

Even if you are just watching this movie now for the first time, it still remains one of the most horrifying and unnerving movie going experiences you could ever hope to have. Thanks to this new DVD set, it looks better than ever and comes with a great wealth of extras.

By now, you know what you're getting with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I've been watching this movie since the early 80's on multiple formats and nothing can beat the 40th Anniversary blu ray. The picture quality is fantastic without losing the feel of a drive-in movie.

This set includes four discs 2 blu rays and 2 dvds. The film looks amazing as it has been remastered in 4K. It's loaded with special features that are brand new and haven't been included on previous TCM releases and i got a great deal on it at my local best buy.
