A good 4K transfer of a classic sci-fi horror that pre-dated the Alien series. Good visuals and great remastered sound.

I grew up on John Carpenter's movies. "The Thing" is still my favorite. The HD scan for this blu ray is much better than the first release. The sound leaps and bounds above. I also love the artwork that are done for these releases.

This is one of the greatest horror movies of all time. The atmosphere, writing, and tension bring together one of the greatest watches there is.

Great classic movie. It is worthy to get this 4K upgrade. I've been waiting for this movie for a long time. Good luck trying to find the steelbook.

Great movie, quality transfer. Not the best transfer of a 4K I've seen, but still a 4 out of 5. Recommend if you love classic Carpenter flicks!

Dude! This artwork is amazing. What a bargain price for this in 4K. They really nailed this one. One of my favorite movies from when I was a kid.

Incredible video transfer, the best The Thing has ever looked. The autopsie scenes will make your jaw drop. Cannot recommend this movie enough.

John Carpenter may have established himself as a master of horror with Halloween but he cemented it with The Thing. The pacing, performances, and effects really make it stand out from similar movies of the time.
