    The Thing is a great movie that def holds up after all these years. The picture quality on this bluray is good to some people. I prefer film grain in my movies from this era and this bluray has been wiped clean of it. I ended up selling it to purchase the Shout Factory edition of the movie. However, Best Buy had a good price on this version which was around 7 bucks, so I can't complain

    My son asked for this because the movie had been remastered and after watching it I realized why he wanted it. It was a Christmas gift and possibly one of the best.

    Shout nails another release. For a film that didn't have a lot of behind-the-scenes available, they pieced together some great special features. Great purchase!
