This movie had great special effects! I loved some of the outrageously gruesome scenes. Kirk Russell was excellent!

John Carpenter's "The Thing" is a classic sci-fi horror film from the 80's starring Kurt Russel. It has a great, tense atmosphere that will keep you guessing right up to the end. It is a bit gory too, so maybe not a great show for younger children, but ages 13 and up should be okay with adult supervision in my opinion.
