I enjoyed this movie. Some good kill scenes. I never saw the original but this was a good watch. I got it for $5. Definitely think it's worth that price.

Awesome remake of a horror classic, and it’s based on a true story.

I wasn't expecting much going into this movie but I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the atmosphere and look of the film. Camera and lighting are top notch. I thought the way they weaved the original movie into the plot was very creative. It has a some suspenseful moments and a few violent attack scenes.

Thank You for taking my reality away for awhile. This is a fun movie even thou they say it is suppose to be true. I needed a break from my mundane life.

This is a squel to the 1976 film and it's a darn good one. You don't have to watch the first one but it's better if you do. It's a continuation of the event from the first one. Can you belive it after 40 years? A sequel came out, not a remake..That my friend is worth the purchase (support).

If you're a fan of the original The Town That Dreaded Sundown or slashers, this is worth a look. Pretty solid modern retelling of the original.

I enjoyed this film. While the original has some humorous elements mixed in with terror, this modern version is pretty straight-forward horror. A thrilling good ride and a pretty cool way to continue the story. Fans of the original should like how this one ties in to the story.

I loved how they tied sections of the original into this film. Makes me want to go to Texarkana to see the yearly showing of the film.

This is one of the rare well done remakes. It's doesn't feel so much as a remake as a sequel that is aware of the original. The characters are very likable, it's a nice change to see victims that try to survive. I would highly recommend this to any horror fan.

Definitely worth a watch. Bought this for $10 on blu ray. I'm a huge horror fan so this is a solid addition to my collection.

First I want to say that I never seen the original movie. That being said, this movie stands on its own at the same time fills the viewer in on the original. The acting was very good. The atmosphere and mood were top notch for a this genre. I really enjoyed it!!

This is a pseudo-sequel, pseudo-remake that uses the 1970s as a springboard that inspired the killer here (the 70s is a movie here). The kills are solid, the acting excellent. with a great ending. Horror fans will love this!

This film is a return to form for the slasher genre. It has everything that makes a slasher worth your time, and it's shot and directed with care to these films. The acting is good, the story is great, and the kills are fun to watch.

Pretty cool and fun horror flick, I like how the original movie was incorporated in this kind of sequel.

I saw the original on bluray so I figured I would give this a whirl. It was surprisingly better than I expected special effects were good acting was good the ending was a little weak but did not ruin the rest of the movie for me.

This is a very good remake of the original film. Brings back the feeling of the 1980s slasher films.
