This movie looks outstanding in 4K. Almost looks like a modern animated transformers movie! If you are a fan of transformers or old cartoons, give this movie a go!

Huge fan of Transformers and bought this on DVD when it came out and then the Blu-ray and was excited when I found out there is a 4K version and jumped on it ASAP

Classic generation transformers doing what they did way back, everyday after school. I loved watching Transformers after school and this movie was just as much fun although some of the regulars died in this movie and that horrified me. (no one dies in the episodes)

The movie that inspired a lot of kids and made our lives, all except the death scene, having Transformers on the big screen. The bonus features were very interesting and informative for my tastes. A great movie for those 80's and 90's kids reliving your youth.

My first copy was scratched I heard a disc loose in the case didn’t think much of it till I got home and watched it but otherwise very good picture quality

Introduced this to my 5 year old son. This was a classic for me growing up. Kids with their computer generated cartoons these days have no idea the amount of talent and imagination that went into these earlier anime styled works of pure genius.

What a blast from the past. They did get a great job restoring this movie. It looks and sounds great. They don’t make movies like this anymore

I was excited to obtain this Bluray version of the movie and I was not disappointed. The movie looks stunning and the bonus features were excellent as well. Proud to add this version to my collection.

I remember crying in the theater when this one came out it looks amazing watching it in 4k still one of my favorite alltime movies i never get tired of seeing it

Although I don't really agree with the beginning of the movie - anyone who has seen it will know what I'm talking about - it's still a great movie if you love Transformers. The newly remastered release of the movie looks great, and is true to the original.

The clarity is incredible worlds and bounds better than the old VHS tape I first saw thin on, definitely buy this now!!!!!!

Now THESE are The Transformers, not those god-awful Michael Bay constructs that are Transformers in name only. Never thought they would release this original movie on blu-ray, but it was a welcome surprise and the steelbook versions makes it even sweeter.

I think I've owned every release of this movie way back to the VHS tape days. This is the best way to watch this film yet and a must for any transformers fan.

I got to see this movie when it came out in theaters and i even have this on VHS and DVD. Now that I have it on Blu-ray it's even better. Especially since it comes in a steenbok case, sweet! it's a must have for any Transformers G1 collector like myself.

Just an awesome cartoon movie from the 80's where Decepticons wage wars on the Autobots! I thought the movie was good before but after its restoration and color for HI DEF or 4K, the picture quality is amazing and great sound too!! Highly recommended.

Nicely done! Picture was great - much improved in many scenes. Sound was much less harsh. Great to watch it in widescreen after so many years on VHS! Only disappointment is that the BB only steelbook was not available on release day. What's up with that?

I great up watching the series and this movie is a good tie-in to that TV series adding many new characters to the story. It's dated but the nostalgia for it has never faded. There are times when my friends come over with their children and their sons just want to watch "Transformers the Movie" That says a lot for a film that thats over 30 years old. If you were a Transformers a fan as a child then this is a must have. Definitely better than any of the Michael movies out today.

I still have this movie in VHS (still have the machine, still working). Enjoy watching it over and over again. Fun to watch. I used to watched this movie with my kids, now with my grandkids. A Very good movie, if you like transformers.

This is my favorite movie, I own the vhs, dvd, and international blu ray. This transfer is excellent and has great audio too. Hot Rod doesn't look pink and maroon... And the audio is 5.1. This might be the definitive version for the true collectors.
