If your a fan of the original Transformers cartoon or a fan of the newer cartoons then this is worth watching. For being an older movie the quality of the blu-ray is really good!

Seriously, you know this was the best part of your childhood. Get it encased in steel and sent to your house and jam out to 80s metal that oddly still holds up due to context.

Although this movie upset many Transformers fans, the animation, visual effects, voice acting, and story is great. I recommend this movie to any fan of Transformers.

I saw this movie in 1986 when I was 13 years old. This movie really holds up and is still a great family movie! The Blu-Ray conversion looks fantastic! You won't be disappointed!

A great movie from a great time when animation was all hand drawn. Don't forget about the killer soundtrack. The fact that this has been given a 4K treatment on blu ray makes it a must own for anyone who appreciates the classic transformers line or who wants to watch the first original movie. Only drawback is digital copy is on website but I can live with that.

At long last, Transformers The Movie is available in glorious Blu-Ray quality! Shout Factory did a great job with the transfers, the animation looks incredibly crisp! My only gripe is the digital download isn't offered via iTunes but through a 3rd party but the download can then be added to iTunes for transferring to an iPhone/iPad and/or watching via Air Play.

I remember this movie when I was a kid. It's crazy to see how good it looks on blu-ray. There was also a regular version but this is Transformers so you gotta get the steelbook.

One of the great classic animations of the 80's. the updated movie looks great and is still much fun to watch. A great reminder of why the "bayformer" movies just aren't good.

It's great to have this movie on Blu-ray. The hand drawn animation was beautiful and missing these days as everything has moved to CG. A classic animation movie.

Brings me back to my childhood. Amazing colors seeing it as if it's the first time. Great for collectors as well as fan and those new to the original series.

I got this for an advent Transformer collector, and he was ecstatic to receive it. He loves it and watched all the commentary and everything. It's a perfect gift for a fan!

This special edition was amazing. A great 30th anniversary edition. Amazing new remastered to transfer and new wonderful interviews. I couldn't be happier and I'm blu ray!!
