I like the Transporter series and the first one was always the best for me. I thought the later versions got filled with more and more BS. Don't get me wrong - I suspend reality when I watch a move - it's about enjoyment right? This one though I liked a lot since Jason Statham was still a bit obscure when it came out and boy does he deliver on action. Some of the action in this movie was pretty original and again even though some a little far fetched definitely a lot of fun. The Blu Ray really brings out the picture and it really is great along with the sound. Buy it you won't be disappointed!

The movie that started it all for Jason Statham and what a great movie it was. I have followed his career ever since. Many don’t know Jason Statham prior to acting was #8 on the British Olympic Diving Team. That must exlpain his amazing and sexy Physique, What A Man!!! His many roles have proven him to be a very versatile actor and I hope he continues acting for many years to. I so admire him!!!

This movie had great action. The acting was so so. The story line was just o.k. But if you like Jason S. and great fight scenes this movie is for you.

The original is still the best. Yes, Shu Qi might not be the world's greatest thespian, but she's more than adequate in the role and Jason Statham does the rest in the film that really launched his career as an action star. The films that have come since pale in comparison to the original. The Blu-Ray is worth getting. Yes, it's a popcorn film, but everyone needs a good enjoyable popcorn flick once in a while. And it's not plenty of action and stunts to sate the appetite of the most ardent action fan.

I think that "The Transporter" was one of the greatest action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite action films of all-time. I have seen and enjoyed this film several times and I also think that "The Transporter" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense including an amazing and original storyline.

This movie really needed to be an "R" rated movie would have made it much better.

Great action and great music by Stanley Clarke. The choreography and editing are great and the movie breezes by fast. The sequels are good too, but this is the original and best. Only gripe is that this blu Ray does not have the unrated extended scenes in the special features like the original DVD did. Oh well.

This is a great action movie that you will not have any regrets owning! I highly recommend this movie and really enjoy it. I think it is a must have for anyone that is a fan of the Transporter movies.

There are just some movies that if you have the equipment for you just have to upgrade to the blu-ray. This is one. The action sequences come alive. And the sound is immersive just like you're watching it for the first time again. There is no other way to watch it.

Jason Statham is one of my favorite actors and (though I have all of his movies and recommend them all) the "Transporter" trilogy is one of my favorites. Always a great story line and guaranteed action packed. Again, another must-see for all.

It was great to upgrade this movie to Blu-ray for the video but I found the audio mix to be the same as the DVD. The center channel dialogue is sometimes lost in the mix but otherwise very good and powerful. It is definitely an upgrade so if you like this movie, get it.

Nothing like the original. Love these older Statham movies. Best Buy has them for really good prices. I love to pop in and find a classic action movie to add to the collection every once in a while, especially if the price is good.

This has got to be one of the best and most original action films of all time. It is not likely to ever be forgotten. The picture quality is exceptional and is a standard that all should equal. (better in DVD than most blu-rays)
