I am very familiar with the original French version of this story, The Intouchables. So I was skeptical about it being remade in English. But I found The Upside quite entertaining even though it did not offer anything new or original. The two leads are perfectly cast and it is satisfying enough for those who never thought about seeking out the original.

Wasn't sure what this was about when I got it, just knew it was based on a true story. There's lots of laughter, "heart" and it's fun! Thoroughly enjoyed the movie and it's one I'd watch again.

I thought this movie was totally different than what the typical Kevin Hart movie would be his acting in this one was aboveboard and excellent I am totally surprised this is a very good movie

This story is very powerful and also realistically represented. Enjoyed the humor and joy brought by the actors of the movie. This is how a movie should be presented from start to finish.

Never heard about this movie, didn’t know it’s based on a true story. Watched it as a free movie to rent. This is an wonderful emotional movie that Kevin hart did excellent in.

My wife dragged me to see movie at local theater; wow, what a great story - based on true story. Shows people of different backgrounds can find common ground. A movie worth owning.

Loved this movie. Cranston is great in anything. Hart is surprisingly good and is the glue to this movie. The digital code says it's invalid which is funny since it was just released.

Really enjoyed this film about two people who could not be from any more different backgrounds or circumstances come together to form a lasting bond. Very funny as well.

This was an amazing movie from 2 characters that dont normally do this kind of drama. But their backgrounds made it what it is, it is not a comedy, but it is a feel good movie.

This was very heart warming and a very enjoyable story. Kevin Hart did a wonderful job, as did all the other actors. It was humorous and touching. A very good movie all around.

I REALLY enjoyed this. It was a heartwarming tale that turned out to be true and very close to the real story. And who knew Kevin Hart could do drama! Excellent movie!

This was an excellent movie. Both main characters had good comedy. Even though based on a true story with some Hollywood liberties, definitely worth watching.

Overall great movie. Only negative is that the digital code only works on iTunes which is stupid. I have vudu and cannot get this movie to transfer over. Very deceiving when it says u can watch anywhere, but have to have iTunes account. If known that, would have just bought it off of vudu.

Saw this movie in the theater and we really love the Kevin Hart and the story. Based on true story also it included the digital copy and we play it on the go

I am not a Kevin Hart movie fan. He not that great of actor but, as a comedian I would say he is better. This movie surprised me. I would definitely recommend.

Kevin Hart as is usually funny self mixed in with some real life family problems Brain Cranston was amazing and funny as well. A must have for your DVD collection

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this movie, but it was a great blend of drama and humor. Will watch it whenever I need something to make me feel good.

This was a really good movie, I loved it, shared with a friend who also loved it. I love the ending and that they stayed friends and helped each other out.

We saw The Upside at the movies first, my wife Loved It so it became part of our movie collection. I have to admit, it is a good movie. Thank you Best Buy.

This movie was on sale at such a great deal I am so glad I bought it. It turned out to be an excellent movie..... I couldn't be happier with my decision.
