Great season with the result of the conflict with the Saviors

Well here you are looking for a review of The Walking Dead season 8. I will have to start off by saying this series has departed from what made it so great just a couple short years ago. I been a fan since it first aired on TV yet Season 8 almost has me ready to give up on the series. It's not just the writing that has me with mixed feelings it's the presentation and overall ( Soap Opera ) feel they have some how adopted. This shows staple was all about Survival and yet it's some how drifted into the Bully Tactics of one group vs another group episode after episode with no clear conclusion week to week. To me it's just getting old and boring. As for the product itself : I have no idea what AMC the company that published The Walking Dead was thinking when they decided not to include ( Digital Download ) codes with Season 8. It was quite a surprise to find not only the cost of the complete set increase in price compared to previous seasons, but they didn't offer digital codes which to me should lower the price. Oh well hopefully AMC will see the error's in their ways and correct this next year when season 9 releases.
