started to watch this series, had to have next season, it is good iff you like the show itself!

Season 2 continues the momentum of this well written show. Fun and gory. Just the way I like it.

I plan to collect all the seasons. I started watching season 5 . Now I am starting from the beginning.

Much better than first. Gets a little slow near middle but still excellently done!

Bought seasons 1-6 and only season 1 hadn't been re-wrapped to be sold after being returned. There were finger prints on half the disc. And season 6 had 2 scratched disc so I traded in at a local store to only get another re-wrapped copy and it had a scratched disc, it wasn't horrible so I decided to keep it but will not be a return customer. If they are going to resale returns then they need to knock off a few bucks and label them "like new"

I did not like season one at all I ended up selling that to a local used movie/game store. So I had no interest at all to watch season two.

I have liked this show from the comics about it. The only negative thing i can honestly say about Season 2 is it drifted a long way about the actual storyline from the comics. Other then that this show is intense there making it up as they go now no one is safe in this show anymore. Season 2 to me had a slow start but but had one of the best finishings to any series i have seen other then Breaking bad. It always keeps you wanting more. I wouldn't say i was bored but the search for the Sophia for the first 6-7 episodes did get a little old considering in the comics this never happens almost just seemed like filler episodes. Sophia and Carl actually become very close in the comics. For anyone who hasn't watched it i wont break down anything that has happened i would just advise for you to get it and check it out. Hands down one of the best shows on TV. Every time i watch this show it makes me want to play Left 4 Dead or Dead island.

I bought this for my wife on release day and she loves it, the show itself has an immediately noticable quality to it, like that of Breaking Bad. I bought it for only 5 bucks more than the price of season 1. Season 1 only had 6 episodes and this one has 13 episodes and many hours of extra content. My minor complaint is the actual case the blurays are stored in, its definitely a downgrade from season 1, obviously not deal-breaker i just like the way the nicer cases look on my movie shelf.

I am a big horror fan, but I was not sold on the premiss of this program at first. I thought there was only so much that can be done with a zombie film/show: run, hide, fight, die, rise, repeat. There is a reason why there was so much time between Romero's Dead movies. However, I got into the series in the third or fourth season as I so it was not going away. Boy was I hooked.Now I do not miss an episode. From the acting and gore to the intriging story, there is a reason why this show is so highly praised. Typically I do not buy television series on DVD or Blu Ray, especially if it is constantly playing in reruns. But since I picked it up on the series so late, I really wanted to go back an watch the earlier seasons in order and on my terms. When I bought this set, the price was amazing; $20.00 for the entire second season on Blu Ray. Even the DVD set was more. I only wish the season was longer than 13 episodes. Very Highly recommended.

This series is the perfect blend of tense horror and serial drama. We started watching and could not get enough. It takes itself seriously and has smart dialogue, interesting characters and unrlenting horror. It pulls no punches and has suprises galore. NO ONE IS SAFE. You can watch each episode again and again.

I love the Walking Dead series. The series has a good story line. And the characters are good. Even though there are a few that get on my nerves but it makes it better for you when they get eaten by the zombies lol. Best buy is over charging for the them. $59.99 is the pre-order price? That is way to much. $30 for the blu-ray set is much more reasonable. I hope they change it when it comes out.

I purchased this boxed set as a birthday present for my husband. He LOVES IT! We greatly enjoy (if that's the right word for something so gruesome) watching the series. He had gotten session 1 as soon as it was released so I knew this would be a hit. The Zombie case/bust is a happy(?) bonus. He loves it !!! Score one for the wife!

Awesome show. Worth every penny for the special edition. Any zombie lover will appreciate this show. Great acting, great plot and character development, and super sweet zombie head. The zombie head is VERY detailed. Right down to every rotten piece of flesh! Looks exactly like the zombie in the show. If you buy this you WILL NOT be disappointed.

This has got to be one of the most well made shows I have seen on basic cable TV. The graphics are outstanding, the story line is believable (as far as zombies go) and the acting is spot on! Loving Season 3 and will be ordering it as soon as its available!

"THE WALKING DEAD" IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE TELEVISION SHOWS OF ALL TIME. I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THIS SHOW LIVE ON AMC SINCE THE VERY FIRST EPISODE AIRED OVER SEVEN YEARS AGO. THE WHOLE PRODUCTION IS INCREDIBLE AND I HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN ON THE SET SOUTH OF ATLANTA MANY TIMES IN THE PAST TWO YEARS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

If blood and guts don't bother you, this show is a must watch. Season 2 picks up with Sheriff Rick Grimes taking the group to a farm, where they hope to rebuild some semblance of a life. Unfortunately, in fighting and of course zombies make things less then ideal. The last 4 episodes are amongst the best of any show I've ever seen.

The Walking Dead season 2 really shows off how good a zombie show can truly be, the build-up of season 1 was a nice jumping off point, at double the episodes from the first season the action is packed in, and not everyone gets out of it alive. If you haven't seen this series, I highly recommend you do, season 3 starts in October!
