I love The Warriors and for a gritty New York film from the 70s the picture quality is amazing! My only complaint is that the original theatrical cut wasn't included. I'd prefer to watch the original version without the intro and comic transitions. Either way, it's still a fun film and the picture quality alone is worth picking this up. Come out to play-ay!

This is an awesome guy movie. I recommend it to all the guys out there. The only problem with the ordering process is the description of the dvd. At first I was worried because the movie is described as dubbed.

Still one of my all time top five favorite movies. I loved it back then and still to this day. Edge of your seat all the way. Great soundtrack, great fight scenes and a pretty good story line to go with it.

Classic movie - if you're from Brooklyn this is on the bucket-list of movies to see! Can you dig it!

very cool old school retro future new york city movie about gangs.

This long awaited special edition of the cult-classic film is something of a disappointment, as the now out-of-print theatrical version has been excluded from this release. While it is fun to see Hill's original intent, I still think the theatrical version is much better, and don't understand why it would be excluded from a product bearing the title "ultimate edition'. Bonus features are ok, and the dvd is anamorphic widescreen, but as is often the case, the new high def transfer appears blatantly 'overdone' in some regards. For fans who already have the theatrical version on dvd, stick with what you've got...

Solid movie. The director's cut is pretty lame but doesn't change much of the original experience.

This movie is mostly goofy fun with an odd mix of the darkly violent. I can, in point of fact, dig it.

Great older gang movie. A must see even for new generations.

Love the theatrical version of The Warriors. Do not like Ultimate Version. Shows like comic book. Ruins it .

The Warriors is a Cult Classic and a film that i like very much,however the Ultimate Directors Cut in my opinion sucks due to the Cartoon Cut Scenes which in my opinion are not necessary.I would suggest that anyone interested in buying this movie pick up the theatrical version instead of this one.
