This movie was a total surprise. When I read that the makers of Juno were involved, I expected a degree of charming quirkiness, but this surpassed my expectations. Featuring a great supporting cast (including a never-better Sam Rockwell and a surprisingly dark Steve Carrell) and a couple of break-out performances from the relative new-comers. A great coming of age tale that is funny, heart-wrenching, and sweetly sentimental. One of the year's best!
