I can't recall a movie with such a creepy dreadful feeling throughout than this original masterpiece. It takes me back to Texas Chainsaw and The Shining in its incredibly awful atmosphere. Makes the skin crawl.

Another movie I got for sale but haven't watched yet.

Subtle, but effective approach to horror in this movie.

The movie is fairly slow and it's a psychological thriller more than a straight up horror movie. The imagery of the movie was good but the story was slow and a little boring. If your looking for a slasher film or even a witch movie with lots of spells this isn't the movie.

Such a great movie! I loved it! Have to follow it closely though to figure things out! Acting is superb! Lots of twists and turns. Ending will creep you out!

I had heard promising reviews but, was fairly disappointed. I am always hoping for the return of quality horror movies as were made in the 70s like The Omen, Rosemary's Baby, and The Exorcist. This movie definitely had an eerie atmosphere and excellent cinematography.

This ended up being a great movie it has been a while since I've found a good horror movie I could enjoy. I kind of wish this movie could be a dvd/blu ray combo but I am still very happy with my purchase and movie.

Slow build up of suspense made me impatient. The list child topic was a bit too heavy for me during this pandemic. Great cinematography with moody lighting and overall cohesion of sets & imagery.

One of the visually best movies I have watched this year. The only hiccup would have to be hardly being able to hear the actors. I had to turn it up quite a bit to fully hear what they were saying. Great story too!

The Witch is a slowly paced period horror film that takes its time setting up the characters and tension, but when it gets going, it really gets going. You'll be on the edge of your seat!
