Directorial debut for Robert Eggers and is haunting and chilling to the bone. The attention to detail is immaculate and worth the watch alone.

One of the best movies I've ever seen. Quiet, understated, attention to detail, great cinematography. A horror like no other; no jumps - just deeply disturbing scenes that stay with you for days.

I didn't expect much in this blu-ray, because I hadn't seen the movie. This is a terrifically made horror film, with plenty of twists and surprises to keep you guessing until the very end.

This is a very slow burn horror movie. The cinematography is excellent. If you aren’t into slow paced movies this might not be for you.

The Witch (The VVitch) will be going down as a classic in horror cinema. Beautifully shot and acted. The picture and sound are incredible on the Blu-Ray. Watch it with the lights off.

The film follows a girl in the era of the Salem Witch Trials and shows how quickly people can lose their humanity. The ending was entrancing with how it was done and the score that accompanied it.

Creepy and really interesting. I like how the director studied the way they spoke during that time. The story is really creepy and it really makes you feel like your there during that time period.

A part of the modern wave of allegorical horror that's been seeping out from independent filmmakers over the past 5 or so years, The Witch is an extremely underrated film. Highly recommend.

Its not a scary movie the makes you jump a lot but its a good movie with good acting. The acting and the way they speak is what makes this movie good. There's hardly any action so a lot of people will get bored but over all its a good movie.

The Witch is a slow building horror film. The setting is believable and makes for an enjoyable horror film. Don't expect jump scares or other nonsense. A good old fashioned creepy movie.

A great great story and great characters. The Witch is a good break from a bunch of those hack and slash films we're used to. The atmosphere alone is enough to keep you at the edge of your seat.

This movie will make your skin crawl, scary as hell, not for everyone, its not your typical jump scare movie. 9/10

I went into this movie with no expectations. Saying that, I was greatly surprised and loved this movie. It's been awhile since there was a newer horror film I liked. This on succeeded.

You'll either love the ending or you'll hate it. I loved it and the movie overall felt like it was truly filmed during the Salem times. More of a suspense/thriller than a horror movie.

The Witch may have been my favorite movie of 2016 and easily one of the most original horror films in years. It's a masterpiece of atmosphere, both beautiful and deeply unsettling.

Amazingly shot horror film. Not the best thing on the planet, but still cool. If you're looking for something similar, and maybe even more visceral, check out antichrist. it's a doozy.
