I loved the slow pace build up but the ending was so bad,

The movie was ok, although I did not fully understand it

The language dialect was hard to understand at times. It was fairly suspenseful which would have made it a good movie vs an ok movie, if u could understand what was being said. Typical, "leave u hanging" ending, I'm sure to open it up for a sequel.

This movie was very dry and confusing. Needing more input to the story/movie or a better writer/director as I fill, though others may feel different. Have to pay attention to the key notes in the movie that relates religion to dark magic.

I bought this because of how much I loved The Lighthouse. I'm not a horror fan, and this film was just okay to me. It was dark and creepy, but I got nothing out of it.

I found this movie muddled and very hard to follow. Language was archaic and rather than enhance the period mood made the movie hard to follow and understand. There are other movies in this genre that do the witch thing much better.

This movie could have been so great but it was far too slow and left out too many details. Also, there wasn't enough of the scary parts featuring the witch etc. I had high hopes for this film but it left me disappointed.

The previews and theme of this horror film were so creepy that I had to run out and buy a copy. However, the pace of the movie was slow, the language archaic, and the "horror" scenes had me raise an eyebrow at best. Meh.

This movie turned out to be more comedic than scary. My son and I were left to guess "What will they try next?". Very bad story line and the movie was hard to follow. I doubt that I will ever watch it again.

Well it's very historically accurate to the time period but that's all I can say. It was so slow to get started that I fell asleep. When I woke up, it was still playing so I went back to sleep.

Love the occult. Corruption of innocense is sexy. But the end barely justifies the means. Just not enough gotcha in this film to entice me to take up space on my shelf or watch again.

I was actually highly disappointed in this movie. A co-worker talked it up and I never saw what was so great about it.

This movie was not really scary. It was a bit strange and the language, however authentic, was confusing and I still feel kind of like I don't know what happened.

Fear, makes people do some pretty nasty things at times, they also fail to look beyond the present, while they cower from all the bad things that could happen!
