A beautiful new touch to the old classic awesome movie. Bluray is the way to go!!

I have been watching the Wizard for countless years and I have 4 copies one for each time it was reissued this 4k is unbelievable I see something different every time I watch it! The quality is worth every penny

This movie is timeless, for all ages for all times. I loved Judy Garland in this. She was so talented. Each actor was well chosen for their part. And the color and cinematography is great for its time. I am a grandma and still enjoy the youthful spirit of this movie. My grandkids do too. One of those you sing to and find yourself singing the music of long after the movie is over!

This is a classic movie to begin with so I wont rate it on that. What I will rate is the 3D effect and the extras. I will tell ya this.....its well worth the money!!! UI was very impressed with the 3D effects in this movie.

This is a classic that should be in everyone's home movie collection.

What can I say? This movie is a legend. The film has been cleaned up very well from the original and even from what you may have seen on TV. The audio is very good for being originally released in 1939. They removed the Dolby TrueHD 5.1 track with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track but you can still access the original mono track if you prefer.

I purchased this for my grandson who will be 5. He saw the trailer for this movie at the beginning of another movie just before Halloween. He talked about the melting witch for weeks. I was excited to find the 75th anniversary edition to give him for the upcoming Halloween, especially since I watched it every year growing up. I'm hoping when he turns 5 it will be more age appropriate.

For $6 you cant go wrong with this one, my kids love it!

It was a shock to find this movie at Best Buy for such a great price. This is a classic and I believe everyone should have the opportunity to see it at least once in their life. I used this as part of my chinese exchange gift.The person who got it was really happy. Because it was so reasonable it was a great addition with the other items I had to complete the gift. It was a good find!

Since I was a little boy in the 1950's watching The Wizard of Oz once a year-usually at my Grandma's house because she had a color tv!-this has been my favorite film. Thus, over the years, I have purchased many editions of this film-on VHS, laserdisc (Criterion looked spectacular!), dvd, Bd and now 4K. The color palette and sound on the 4k are fantastic, however I personally don't notice a vast improvement over the blu-ray. I have a 65" LG OLED C8 and the color on it is awesome as it is, so I would say that if you love this film as I do the 4K is something you will want in your collection.

I visited store to purchase 3D version of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and was disappointed that all copies were gone. Don't know why Best Buy allows people to by up all the copies and then try to re-sell them on eBay. This was 2 days after the movie was released on blue ray. At any rate, I did find this Wizard of Oz movie in 3D and am pleased with it.

If you loved this movie on DVD, you Will love it on bluray. Beautiful picture.

Gave it as a gift and was told that the anniversary edition was incredible.

What is there to say about this movie? Everything is perfect.

Even after all these years, this movie still holds up and looks great. Colors are vivid on blu ray. Disney has just spoiled me, as I wish this came with the DVD as well, so we could put it on in the car for the kids.

Excellent picture and sound. A must have for any lover of this classic movie.
